Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: RE: Kenwood KDC BT945U My deck

Hi Dennis,

One of persons I know had the same problem, now all you need to do is reset the player and hopefully it would be fine , please follow the below instructions :-

You would find one reset button on the front panel, to be precise It's located between the forward button and the "1" button.

All you need to do is insert a pen and press that button and make sure that the unit is turned on at that time,

Then you will find that the unit will do blank or dark for some seconds and then back on

Also remember to always press the eject button before if you remove your USB
drive as it would flash remove signal , this is a safety norm that you need to follow.

Hope this helps ...:)

SOURCE: Hello, my battery went dead

Try checking all of your fuses. There is also a fuse behind the radio itself.

SOURCE: I just put my old

take the blue/white wire coming from the radio and tie that in with your solid blue wire coming from the radio and which is connected to whichever wire in the car. So in total you'll have 3 wires at a connector.

No power to kenwood kdc-108, how do I fix it?

Try checking all of the fuses in the vehicle. There is also a fuse on the back of the radio. There should be two fuse boxes, one in the engine compartment and another in the vehicle, under the dash or in a kick panel.

The back light won't turn on and the volume is turned all the way up but the buttons won't work for me to turn it down. I had to take the whole thing out

Assuming your deck is a kdc 516s the flexible cable that goes from the face to the main motherboard is probably bad. If you are not good at desoldering and soldering. , I would suggest you have it replaced by a professional.

Kenwood deck kdc-mp2035 im not sure about blue wire or yellow or red

Normally on Kenwood, blue is not usually used, it's for power antennae, make sure it's end is not bare though. Yellow would be to a continuous 12volt+, for memory. Red goes to accessory, (+12volt) where only power when key on, or in accessory position.

Kenwood KDC-MP438U acts as if there is no power to it,dead nothin

The speaker wires are very sensitive. You need to make sure that they are not grounding out. Once the unit senses this it will shut off. Pull the plug out of the back and start over.
