If you're talking about trying to pair the device to your phone, the default passkey or most mobile bluetooth devices is "0000".

I can't find my pass phrase on my router for my xbox360

Depends on the brand of router. You will have to access the router via the router's IP. Or if you have a computer already connected to the same router you can look the passkey up on your computer. Depending on OS that you use single/ double click on the on the wireless connectivity bars normally displayed bottom right of you display. a Pop-up window will display and show all current ineternet connections.Right click on the wireless connections in use, click on properties, click on the 2nd tab above - security - the 3rd field will read "network security key" and just below that a check box that reads "show characters" after selecting the checbox you passkey will be revealed. Should you not be able to do this, you will to enter the router setup through its ip address using your internet browser. To help you with that I will need the type of router that you uses as, and that is only if you have not changed the routers standard username and password to logon. if you changed it and cannot remember it you will have reset your router by pressing the reset button and holding it for 3 to 5 seconds. It will reset your router completely to zero with the standard manufacturer username and password. Think twice before you do this as you will have setup your router completely from the start which will be a daunting task for any novice. Cheers HoT.

HOW DO I RESTRICT USERS TO MY ROUTER

Setup security within the router such as WEP or WPA2 and customer insert passkey save and exit. Remember to enter that same passkey (code) on the laptop or other device otherwise they to will also not be able to connect.

Can't use wireless due to possibly forgot password.

If you do not have the Network SSID and Passkey, you will need to logon to your Router (via a cable connection) as an administrator to get the information from the Wireless Security setup screen.

The other way, would be to look at another PC/LAPTOP/SMARTPHONE which can connect to this Router and look at the Wireless Setup SSID , Encription (WEP or WPA or WPA2, etc) and Passkey. Passkey is normally not displayed but there is usually an option to 'display the characters'.

Hope it helps and good luck!

I have forgot my passkey for others to connect wireless - how can I change the passkey?

So you've lost the password that you set up for your linksys router and no one remembers it. Generally you can do two things. Buy a new wireless router or you can reset the router to it's factory default and then save the password before you forget again.

Cant remember passkey for wireless laptop connection

If you hook into the router with a wired connection, youu should be able to get into the router setup menu to find the passkey. If you can't remember the access for the router menu, you may have to reset the router and redo setup.

HI! I bliv u are having some issue setting up ur router.. I will be more than glad to assist u. . here are the steps u need to do:

1. connect the ethernet cable to port1 of the router and the other end to the lan port of your computer..
2. pull up ur browser then type at the url:192.168.1.1. or u can check the routers default gateway by right clicking the network icon on the lower right of your task bar and click on status and it will show the ip address of the computer, subnetmask and default gateway, the default gateway is the routers ip address, once u type in to the url, it will ask u the username and password, by default the username is admin and the password, just leave it blank
3. it will show the setup page of the router. u can set the router on the specific internet setup that u have. look for the wireless settings once u are on the wireless settings of your router, it will show the type of security and the password that you create..

if you have any querry pls feel free to get in touch.. good luck
