Xerox Docucolor 12 copier doesn't print when sending to FieryEX12
When I purchased the copier it can copy from the glass however when
sending a job to the EX12 fiery nothing prints. I get a blank document.
No error codes shows up. I looked on the Xerox site for any patches for
the fiery, but I don't think it is the fiery. I did a test print
directly from another fiery (X12) I have available, but the test print
also printed nothing. Is it my copier or is it the fiery. If it is a
patch, please email me the link from Xerox. If it is the copier, please
let me know the part I need to replace. Thanks!
Re: Xerox Docucolor 12 copier doesn't print when sending...
There is no 1 part that deals with this issue i'm afraid. The copy from the glass uses all the boards in the same path that a print uses. It definately rules out the machine fault. I would guess that the machine isn't set up properly to receive these fierys. Just make sure all connections are secure, if not try other cables.

Fault Code 15-362 - CAUTION: The Fuser Roll remains in a cammed-up position if power to the copier is interrupted while the copier is in use. The Fuser Roll will not be released from its position until the power is restored, the Power Switch is in the On position, and the Start button is pressed again. If the Fuser Roll remains in the cammed-up position for a prolonged period of time, copy quality defects will occur. To prevent damage to the Fuser Roll, switch the Power On as soon as possible after the power is restored, and make a copy of a document. If the machine is a DC 12LP send a print job from a workstation to prevent damage to the Fuser Roll.
the only thing apart from software corruption is that you could try printing a configuration sheet. If this prints then black printing is working. If it won't then print a test page then you need composite patch 1-7QU5B.ps from the xerox "drivers and downloads" site. If none of this works it is a software reload.
