Question about MSI (MUKUA) Mouse

MSI mouse thats included in MSI S420

Ok I've been having this problem for WEEKS now and I'm getting tired of it. When I click my mouse once, sometimes, let me rephrase, its getting often now that when I click my mouse once, it does double click by itself. Can you tell me how to fix this bug? This MSI mouse should work very well since I use it with MSI laptop. Thank you.

Re: MSI mouse thats included in MSI S420

You need to check the mouse settings, go to Start>control panel>printers and other hardware>mouse and check that it isn't set to one click as being a double click, check all other settings also especially the click speed may be set too fast and is encouraging a double click.

Just have the mouse- wont work. have batteries in, have receiver plugged in. computor say working correctly. but isnt working

Try this;
Go to (>) Start>Control Panel>Bluetooth
A window will open showing you all the wireless devices that are already recognised by your computer. If the icon for this mouse is shown there then highlight it and click 'Remove Wireless Device'. Then click "Yes" (Sometimes removing a device and then reinstalling it fixes the problem)

Click on Add Wireless Device ( a new window will open and the computer will search for the device. When it finds the mouse an icon will appear. Highlight the icon and click Next
The computer will load the driver for the mouse.
Once this is done the mouse should be working OK.

Also check this:
Go to (>) Start>Control Panel>Bluetooth
Click on "Bluetooth Settings"
Place a tick in the box next to "Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer > Apply > OK

Logitech provides an excellent program called "Setpoint" which should have been included with your cordless mouse on a CD.

This program allows numerous adjustments and options to your personal preferences in using your mouse.

Should you not have the Setpoint CD, here is the link from which to download it:

Once you've opened the first page, click on downloads, click on the operating system you are using, then click on whether your OS is 32 or 64 bit. Most computers will use the 32-bit version. From there follow the steps in order to get this download. Once downloaded, install the program and then explore the numerous options and preferences you can make for your mouse.

Best of luck to you,

Mouse works fine when cord is in it but when it comes to wireless the mouse does not last long. How long should I charge the mouse with the batteries in it plugged to the computer?

Rechargeable batteries do expire after a while either get new ones or get a battery tester to see how much life they have left. under normal circumstances a new set of batteries last me about two weeks before i have to recharge them and my computer stays on 24/7 including the mouse with at least 5 or more hours of use per day.

Computer says the mouse is working properly, but the light on the mouse isn't on and it doesn't work. put in new batteries and tried two different ports, still nothing

i was having the same problem check if your mouse has a button on the bottom and your usb should have a button to right. ok so your first step would be to click the button from the usb once then wait about 5 seconds then click the button under your mouse once and that should do it.

When i type my touchpad is still alive.... how can

I used to have the same problem on a couple of different laptops I had. The worst was my IBM. OK, here's how to disable it: First, I am sure you have another mouse plugged in to your computer so that you will still have mouse functionality...

Click on Start menu, go to control panel, click on mouse. Click the "hardware" tab at the top of the window, and select your built-in mouse. at the bottom of the window click the "properties button, and then in the window that opens, at the bottom you will see "device usage" over a drop-down menu. click on the drop down menu and select "do not use this device" and select ok. close out all windows. You have successfully disabled your mouse. keep theseinstructions in case you want to turn it back on in the future.

Take care.
