Question about Linksys WPC54G Wireless-G Notebook Adapter V2.0 (WPC54C)
I uninstalled the notebook adapter on my laptop. when i tried reinstalling it again, my computer says i have to remove the old driver before i can install it again. but i could not find the "old driver". please help because it's getting me frustrated. i'm not a computer techie. thank you for any help you can give me.
Usually a new driver will replace the old driver but it may have been corrupted, depending on how you uninstalled it. Did you uninstalled it from the device manager ? For linksys driver issues check out this link: http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/support

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
