Got a asda sim. now they have put a code on it so i can't use another sim

PUK means "personal unlocking key" .
The PUK code is asked if you enter a wrong pin 3 times.
You need to call your phone service company, they can retrieve the puk code from a database for free.
In your case you need to contact ASDA technical support to unlock the SIM.
The PIN and PUK are related to the SIM card, not to the phone.
If you replace the SIM card with a different one, then the phone should not ask for the PUK anymore.

So now whats your problem? does your mobile says phone restricted? because you have said mobile been used with o2 by the seller and after purchase you have used with ASDA sim? do you want unlock codes? if so try prounlocking to get codes to unlock your mobile..
