Question about NetGear RangeMax WPN824 Wireless Router (WPN824NAR)
I have an ipod touch and a DG834G router, my ISP is AOL and I can't connect the ipod to AOL via the wireless connection. Everytime I enter the network settings manually the device says ( Unable to connect to network). Can somebody possibly offer a solution please!!!!!!!?????? I've eneetered the original network settings and followed solutions on the Apple website, ive even phoned Apple customer support and (after1.5hrs) they still couldn't figure out what the problem is.
I've entered the mac address in the routers allowed list, i've entered every IP address, subnet mask, router address and DNS server addresses, and no luck. will not connect to netgear router for acces to safari on ipod touch 8 gig
Netgear support software could be bad. The ipod might not be able to read signal. umm try restoring the ipod. then plug it to your computer let it recognize it and then before you add ANYTHING to it, go straight to the setting and put in the router number and everythign and see if it works. I know people hate it but restoring it usually works. Its just simple small virus's that hit your ipod through songs and stuff and it eventually makes everything stop working. So get back at me let me know if restoring it worked.
