I have an onsn 5500 marquis gold gas generator. We ran it last month for a week during the day. Got home and it ran for a couple of seconds and won't start. Changed the oil and gas tank is full

Check the controller board for overheated components and open traces on it. Make sure the fuel filter isn't clogged and the fuel pump is running.

Is this a natural gas fueled generator? Sounds like a fuel problem, i would go through the fuel system and find out whats wrong. If its a natural gas/propane unit its most likely a bad regulator or low pressure.

Ran out of gas now wont start

Bad, Bad! Now you have probably clogged the fuel tank fuel filter and the in line fuel filter under the car. You surely have to change the can-like filter under the car. Checking to see that gas is flowing to it and through it. If it is, the fuel line both to and from the tank is clear...next, fuel injectors...

Generator ran fine Friday evening but when I cranked it Saturday evening it ran from 10:00pm to around 2:00am then quit. I woke up to a cold camper. I was able to re crank the generator but it runs real...

If plug is fouled, that would explain running rought and some smoking. But for something to happen all of a sudden, I would suspect bad fuel, which can cause fouled plugs.

Ran generator out of gas. added gas but no flow to gen. connected small squeeze bottle to line where it breaks gen ran fine. so fuel pump on gen is fine. respond to rtorres1@socorro.k12.nm.us

If you ran it out of gas,you might need to flush the tank out. There is a small filter on your hose in the tank that probably got blocked.

Resently ran out of gas now cars running bad / 93 caprice

Change the fuel filter again and if you have fuel injectors, you need to get them sleaned....I believe some of those oil one stop service places will do it. If you have a carb, you need to blow it out....but change that filter....maybe even a few more times if you had that stuff come out the first time.

Gas in the oil on my honda generator

Your needle/float is stuck, which will allow fuel to flow though the intake...past the piston..and into the crankcase. If has been awhile since you used it, most likely the gas has gummed up the insides of the carb. Otherwise, you may have had something get into the fuel bowl that is keeping the needle from closing. Best way to solve is to remove and clean the carb. Replace fuel filter if needed also.
Hope this helps

If the car has over 100,000 miles on it, you may need to replace the distributer. I don't think the bad gas caused this issue I think it may just be a coincdence. But if you already changed the plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotor, I would definetly check the distributor.
