How to use it and line it up cant see anything when i look true

  1. Get Stellarium or another fine astronomy program
  2. During the day, point the telescope at a part of the landscape about 100 yards away.
  3. Use the lowest power eyepiece (highest number) in the focal tube.
  4. Center the landscape object in the telescope.
  5. Align the finder scope so that it points exactly where the main telescope is.
  6. At night, leave the scope out to reach thermal equilibrium (about an hour for small reflectors and refractors)
  7. If the scope is on a EQ mount, polar align.
  8. Point the finder at the moon. The moon should be in the main scope also.
  9. Practice finding the moon before you start on the planets
  10. Once you are comfortable with the moon and planets, you can go for the deep sky objects

I recently purchased a second hand bresser messier and would like to find a manual on how to work it

All of Meade's manuals are on this web site-- however this scope is only sold in EUROPE--- there may be one similar to it on the web site below which you can use to help you assemble it.

The manual only has assembly instructions. It will not tell you how to find objects in the night sky--- or how to focus the telescope--- or which eyepiece to use. All this comes with experience and by talking with other amateur astronomers. Find a local Astronomy club and JOIN--- the members will help you--

Bresser, I have purchased a s/h Bresser refractor telescope with no instruction manual, where can I purchase or find one of these. The information from the scope is:- Bresser Optick. Refractor 0 60...

This is a small refractor telescope. Sorry no manuals-- BUT Meade scopes has a web site with all of their manuals. Look under the REFRACTOR heading for one that is similar to your scope. They all assemble and are used in a similar fashion.

I am looking for instructions for a bresser telescope i have had for months and never been able to see anything or even how to work it as had no inscructions thanks

If it looks like the picture, this is a small REFRACTOR style telescope on an equatorial mount. Meade has all the manuals on this web site-- look under the REFRACTOR header for an EQ mount-- they are all used in the same way.

The mount must be polar aligned in order to be used properly. Watch this video--

and read my tips on my profile page.

I have recently acquired a Bresser Messier N130 Reflector, but the manual which accompanied it, entitled 'Die Teleskop-Fibel fur Einsteiger' is in German. How do I set5 up the telescope and start...

This link points to a document which has most of the instructions in both German and English. It may help you understand better how to use your telescope. Additionally you'll probably get 90% of the way there reading up on the use of Equatorial Mount Newtonian Reflector telescopes.

Once you have the telescope properly oriented to the compass you'll be able to use the telescope easily.

Happy Stargazing.

Hiii, would like to buy a second hand telescope from a guy, but i dont know if this telescope is good or not for a beginner. I would like to see the moon up close, and i would like to see some...

I believe that scope is on a EQ mount which you must polar align in order to use the telescope. It is also a small refractor. You will be able to see the major planets, a few star cluster, and a few bright nebula, along with double stars.

However it is only about 70mm so it's light gathering power is low. Look at this type of telescope.

Eyepieces come in 3 sizes. .975, 1.25, and 2 inch. Your scope probably has a 1.25 inch hole-- eyepieces are sold by many different on-line retailers; here is one:
