Constantly receiving this code when starting different cycles. I know others have too.
Has anyone gotten any relief from this or found an answer without having to call Sears? Seems like Sears just makes you pay for repair and the problem resurrects itself again.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but its the machine/motor control unit (circuit board). if you don't want to involve sears to get them to pay a portion of the bill, then go to searspartsonline and order one yourself. you'll need your model number to get the right part number ECU (which should be W10189966 rev A) which will run you about $150. replacing it is relatively easy is you're handy at home. sears service will charge you another $130 to install it. this will fix the F1 problem.
not sure if sears has finally recalled this washer. if they finally do, then all our problems go away (yeah, right).
