Check to make sure it is threaded through all of the threading points and that it is seated in the tension (Hold the thread from pulling off the spool and pull a little Just before you thread the needle to make sure thread is seated in the tension disc). Check the bobbin and make sure it is seated properly. There is only one way for the bobbin to go in the bobbin casing, check manual. If threaded properly, tighten the tension. It should work fine.

just found this on the internet...
Fabric jamming in your machine may be caused by the feed dogs. The feed dogs are those tiny teeth along the sewing machineunderneath the presser foot as those teeth pull the fabric through when the needle is making stitches.24 Feb 2016

Threading the machine

You said it jams when you start to sew. Please clarify. how and where does it jam?

Make sure you threaded the machine with the foot in the UP position. Make sure your bobbin is in the case correctly and is spinning in the correct position when you pull on the thread.

When starting to sew, grasp the top and bottom threads and gently tug, then hold it down to the surface of the machine as you begin the seam.

Keeps getting jammed

Hello,
Give these solutions a try.

* Un-thread your machine and remove your bobbin. Clean any loose thread or lint out of your
bobbin case. Re-thread your machine, reinsert and re-thread your bobbin.

* Change your bobbin as there could be a nick along the edge of your bobbin spool that’s catching your thread as you sew.

* When you start to sew a seam, Hold the upper and bobbin thread tails back and out of the way as you sew your first couple of stitches. This will keep them from getting jammed in your machine.

I hope this helps.

Bobbin case case keeps jamming

I am having somewhat the same problem with the exception that my needle did not break. I've cleaned and oil, but the bobbin case and projection positioned spring is not communicating to allow sewing to continue. The thread keeps jamming and the bobbin raises up the plate. So, what else am I to do?
