Question about Computers & Internet
How do I install it my windows vista computer
Right click on the disk and click explore. If the files are stored separately on the disk you can simply copy them to you hard drive. I would assume they would be in .jpeg .bmp extensions.

SOURCE: window cd
The windows vista DVD that you have is an OEM and not a retail windows vista copy. If your friends computer is a non dell system, you would not be able to install it on his computer in the first place. If its a dell computer purchased before 2007 , it will not install.
In all other conditions it would install without any problems

SOURCE: Windows vista wont boot!
could be 2 things either your bios or your cd is dirty.
Turn the cd upside down so the silver side is facing you
Put the cd near a light and see if there is anything on it and wash it off and dry it off before you use it
Also while you are at it check to see if there is a deep scratch the problem with cd and dvd drivers is the eye get stuck even on finger prints they are so touchy same as dust ect.
If you need to get into the bios make sure the first boot is your cd or dvd drive.
you will need to press the <F2> key during POST (Power On Self Test) to enter the Acer BIOS setup.
Then you use the arrows to move through each menu.
When you get to the boot options menu highlight it.
Then hit the enter button first one should be dvd or cd drive second one should be either HDD1 or HDD0
On the bottom of the bios page it will show how to do the changes
and how to save them then it will go back to the original screen
that you were first at now hit the arrow key to the last menu and hit save and exit it will ask you if you are sure hit the key Y
that should do it.

have or can you get a win 95/98 disk...
these disks utilize the dos enviroment...
when you boot with them you can easily get in the dos platform (c://prompt)
once there type in fdisk and follow instructions.
you can also do this from usb ..you need to make usb bootable first.
you may be able to use xp disk and choose repair which will take you to the dos prompt.
you may be able to format hd with vista disk and before it start to install files interrupt it(remove disk)
not advisable though.
if you want program to create bootable usb let me know.
I'll need youre email address to send via attachment.

From this link you can purchase the original Recovery Disk for your Computer.
If you do not want to purchase the Recovery Disk then you may use some search engine like Google to search the "Recovery Disk for PCG-K33".

This smells like Malware/Trojan problems to high heaven. Follow the guide below to make sure that you are not dealing with the nasties that are out there in cyberland.
Go to www.filehippo.com download a program from the center column in the anti-virus section called "MalwareBytes Anti-Malware Tool". Run the installer and allow it to update. Once it dies run the program and perform a quick scan only. Once the scan is complete it will display a button called "Show Results" The program will display all infections it finds. Now click on the "Remove Selected" button and it will delete all infections. Reboot the computer and go to the control panel and turn the system restore and firwall back on if they are still off.
