Check your jacks and cables.

The RED jack is either (1) left or right channel AUDIO signal or (2) the RED color channel of an RGB (Red, Green, Blue) COMPONENT video signal.

Yellow is the COMPOSITE video signal.

SOURCE: Panasonic PT-51HX41 yoke adjustments

go back and check them resistors....with a magnifier and be sure of the color codes...I bet one is way off. and get the manual out confirm each resistor u replaced and even remeasure it. dont mess with yokes or nothing on them tubes! its on the board....check for solder splash too on bottom or shorted pins on stks. if you must just make a big x on screen from corner to corner now cover red and blue tubes. the green should be in center of the x if not move the adjusting 2 magnets near yoke to center it it will have tabs sticking out u might have to move both. after you center adjust red and blue to green. good luck

SOURCE: PT-47WX52CF Shuts off automaticly then 3 flashes

I know what is wrong--3 blinks is short protection--

it means 98% chance one of the two STK-392-110 convergence IC's this set uses is shorted.

The chips are side by side (see photo) on metal heat sinks---there are about 12 light blue resistors in front of them marked 2.2 ohms---I bet if you locate them you are going to find one discolored or white in the middle.

I have start to finish, step by step instructions for this repair--shops get 300 or more but you can buy all the parts on EBAY for under 30 if you think you can do it yourself.

If you want the instructions and source for the parts let me know and I will provide them for you.

If this helped you rate this solution as I do this here for free.

Helloi have a problem with a panasonic 47wx49e in the convergencehorizontal red lines cant be staigthevery adjustin conventional mode are working but when i get inside of the dynamic convergence adjusts...

I would look for burnt resistors off the red IC, hopefully its not the DCU (digital convergence module) as most of these are integrated into the signal board. here is a tutorial i made up:

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Have you checked the bias resistors for Exact Value. They normally change value when the stk's take a dive.

The color converter

Seems to me you maybe experiencing a convergence issue rather than the color converter. (Don't know what he means by that for that I am an a tv repair technician).

If it is what I beleive it to be, you need and experience tech to do the work for you. It usually contains replacing two convergence IC packs along with some resistors and sometimes power supply parts. All wich requires good soldering work.

Red and Blue slightly out of alignment

If constant all over the screen it is the static convergence that needs adjusting.
The green is not adjustable!
Move the red magnets with the blue covered with a piece of card to align with the green and then move the blue with the red covered to align with the green.

Thought I had a convergence problem - red is still broke

KCOZI,

I dont think you have problem with Red Gun.
One of your Convergence IC is faulty with 2 RK series Resisitor(Low Value) in Convergence
Amp Borad. If you changed IC look for RK series Resistor (may be 3.9ohm/2.7ohm)

Shut down

your convergence amps are bad they are the two large chips that are mounted to there own board they should read STK392-110 if you changed them already then in front of the two IC's you changed are several risesters you have to take an ohlm meter put the slector on the little horse shoe and then check each risester they should read 1.5 to 2.7 if you find one that reads nothing change it but change it with the same color risester.

There are feeder resisitors that can go when the STKs (ICs) go bad. They might be bad as well. Also check to ensure you have all cables properly connected.
