Go to the Menu Select Setup Select Position Select V-POS and move the slider to the right. If you do this when the score scroll bar is on the bottom of the screen you can make the adjustment to suit your needs.

I have Time Warner Cable and just FIXED this problem. On the cable box remote, there is a button with the word "Aspect" on it. On my particular remote, this is the "#" button (pound symbol) and by pressing that button, it gives you options of "Zoom 1", "Zoom 2", "Stretch" and "Normal". By setting it to "Normal", it completely solved the problem. Oh and by the way, my t.v. is the LG 47" flat screen LCD. Hope this helps the other frustrated folks out there.

Just called Sony about this same problem...taking your CABLE BOX remote, push the # key on the bottom right of the remote (it also says HD Zoom on mine). You can cycle through 4 or 5 zoom options...make sure you are on an HD channel to see the changes. :)
