SOURCE: OSter Titan hair clippers

Oster titan blades. I have had mine for 5 years.
Oil one is a little ball on the side of clippers push in with oil tip. Make sure your clippers are running for this. You also have to grease them once in awhile with clipper grease. You should have a front panel that has screws. open and grease put case back on. for cord you can try an oscar fix place or try and see if the company will replace if you have not had them long. hope this helps.

SOURCE: The clipper blade adjustment on my Remington Hair

The part that you require is not available for budget models like the HC-8017. You will need to purchase a new clipper or find an old one (ebay?) that you can buy cheaply for parts.
If you decide to replace your HC-8017 clipper, you will find them for sale at shaveroutlet.com

Replacement guards for wahl clippers

Where abouts are you? Generic salon supplie stores have these, but most will only sell directly to a salon. Talk to your local hairdresser and see if they will order them in for you.

Oster Golden A5 Clippers will not cut

These kinds of clippers are fussy about oiling and dirt. It is essential that the blades be spotless and well oiled FREQUENTLY. Oil after every haircut always. Also, if there is not enough tension on the blades, the hair will slip between the blade and blade guard, getting caught and damaging the blades. Blades should be screwed on tight. Also, it may be time to replace the blade if nothing else helps. These blades do not last very long in my experience especially if not carefully cleaned and oiled.

How to use hair cut clippers

WHAT YOU WANT TO DO IS MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GUARD ON IT OR YOU WILL PRETTY MUCH LEAVE THEM BALD. There should be several guard that come with it and on the guard it should have inch on it. that means what you want to leave on there head. if you go to the small you want to start with the big one and blend down toward the desired guard. you want to hold the guard/clipperhead bottom of head and start your way up rocking when you do it meaning point clipper and rock towards you.u shape (in up and out) HOPE IT HELPS
