When in Sabbath mode the only thing that functions is the oven and it will remain on until Sabbath mode is cancelled. You can still change the temp while in Sabbath mode. If the light is on in the oven when Sabbath Mode is activated it will remain on. To turn it off you have to make sure it is off before turning on Sabbath mode.
Your range has somehow been set in "sabbath" mode ( for the Jewish calendar I think...not the metal band, lol ) If you have the owners manual turn to the section referring to this an it should instruct how to reverse the setting.
All ranges do it somewhat differently, so I can't say exactly how on yours. This example is generic, hopefully it works. If you are unsuccessful let me know the exact model number and I'll see if I can locate it. Hold Clock pad for 5 seconds to activate Sabbath mode. HoldClock pad for 5 seconds to disable Sabbath mode. Oven must be in BAKE mode before enabling SABBATH. "SAb" displays and flashes for 5 seconds. All pad inputs are disabled except for CANCEL and CLOCK pads.
This mode disables the normal 12 hour shutoff to allow operation of the bake mode for a maximum of 72 hours. Good luck. Thank you for choosing FixYa.
somehow you put it in sabbath mode, yes sabbath mode,a feature known as "Sabbath mode." According to the Jewish Sabbath law, raw food may not be cooked on the Sabbath, but food that was already cooked beforehand may be kept warm until mealtime. On Jewish holidays, food may be cooked fresh, but turning the flame on poses a problem given electrical requirements forbidden by Sabbath observers.try holding the clck button in for 3 to 5 seconds to take it out of sabbath mode
ok it happens / so to enable the Sabbath mode 1 open the door. 2 press cancel/off. 3 press the number pads 7&8 and 9 , in that order. 4 press Number pad 6 . 5 press start. "sab and on" will appear on the display ..( now to disable the sabbath mode .}. ( repeat the steps above to disable the Sabbath mode. " Sab and off" will appear on the display .. there now that wasn't too tuff was it .. mm hope this helped ..
The PF on your control indicates a power failure and should be removed by pressing the cancel button. The 5ab code indicates the range is in the SABBATH mode.
If a power failure occurs when the SABBATH mode is set, the oven will return to the OFF mode and will turn the power OFF to the oven.
To ENABLE SABBATH mode:
* Open the oven door * Press STOP/CLEAR * Press both the HOUR "UP" and "DOWN" arrow pad at the same time - and hold for 5 seconds. SAB ON will disappear from the display.
To disable SABBATH mode: Repeat the steps above and SAB OFF will appear.
To set the SABBATH mode for use during the SABBATH/Holidays: * Press BAKE * Pres TEMP "UP" and "DOWN" Arrow pad to enter a different temperature other than 350 degrees. (Between 170F and 500F) * Press COOK TIME * Press HOUR/MIN "up" or "down" arrow to set cook time * Press DELAY START to set a delayed cook time (optional) * Press and hold TIMER OFF for 5 seconds SAB will appear on the display indicating it is ready. * Press START * To STOP cooking - press STOP/CLEAR * To exit the SABBATH mode and return to normal operation - press and hold TIMER OFF for 5 seconds.

I have a Crosley gas oven and I had the same problem. According to my manuel it will shut off automatically after 72 hours OR Press the CLOCK pad for 5 seconds - no beep will sound. The Sab will flash and then the time will be displayed.
I hope this helps.
How to Exit the Sabbath Feature
Touch the Clear/Off pad.
If the oven is cooking, wait for a random
delay period of approximately 30
seconds to 1 minute, until only ⊃ is
in the display.
Press and hold both the Bake and Broil Hi/Lo pads, at the same time, until the
display shows SF.
Tap the Delay Start pad until 12 shdn or no shdn appears in the
display. 12 shdn indicates that the oven
will automatically turn off after 12
hours. no shdn indicates that the oven
will not automatically turn off.
Touch the Start pad. NOTE: If a power outage occurred while the oven was in Sabbath, the oven will automatically turn off and stay off even when the power returns. The oven control must be reset.
