SOURCE: need pin out info for aqua vu 4 pin connector

I figured it out:

Here goes: There are 4 wires inside the Aqua Vu cable that runs to the underwater part of the cam.

Red = Hot or 12 volt power from battery postive (red) terminal

Black = Ground - ground to battery negative terminal

White= Video input (or center of video coax)

Green= Infrared lighting control, if you ground the green wire against the black/ground, you will see

that it switches ON the infrared or "Christmas" lights. Simply put a switch on the green wire after you ground it, so you can switch your IR's on and off.

SOURCE: Plenio vxa-2000 antenna pinout

If you are looking at the external connection end with it in a "V" position, on the right - the upper one is green & the lower one is red. On the left - the upper one is yellow & the lower one is black (or the big bunch of copper wires). Be sure you are reconnecting an exact pin set up - an s-video is not the same (unfortunately). If you found a replacement antenna or a correct replacement part, please let me know where. I have to repair mine too.

SOURCE: Power to Lowrance GPS

Hi,

Yes you have to hook up the red wires together to the + and both black ones to the negative, otherwise the antenna won't be supply in current , and don't forget to insert behind the red wire a fuse and a switch to avoid to discharge your battery .

SOURCE: 2001 Chevrolet Impala 3.8 fuel pump wiring diagram

The wires should be grey, orange and black, purple, and a black wire. The purple goes to purple, grey to gray. The orange and black goes to the small black wire on your car harness and the black goes to the bigger black.

Main wiring loom lost for my system. it has a 6 pin plastic connector. what do each of the 6 pins do ?? i have a connector but dont want to blow it up.. thanks Richard

You've failed to tell me the GPS device name/make/model. I can't find you a pinout diagram without this information.
However, Provided you connect the six wires in the same fashion as the old one, you'll be just fine. Chances of anything blowing up are very slight (unless you stash your plastic explosives in your gps unit) The six cables are nothing more than power, ground, and data.

While on the water we've turned the unit off and we not able to turn back on for no obvious reason. Power supply checked out OK by a sparky. All cables OK. Not had a problem before. Unit is just not...

First check the cables supplying the unit from the jack connector behind the unit for continuity to the battery for a loose, corroded or broken wire before breaking the seal on the unit. Good luck.

Furuno 1650wf keeps losing gps fix . some time it will have a fix for awile , then it may only last a few seconds

Check your cable. Sometimes the cable connector goes bad and other times it's the connector on the inside of the unit. Get a dealer to check this one out. Try sending it to Mid-Shore Electronics in Maryland if you're in the U.S.

Cannot get a GPS signal to my 525c DF

This may or may not offer help but on the lowrance site it has very simple step by step instruction to solving this problem. The first step is to make sure your getting power to the new 4000 series. With a 12v tester you can do this. On the gps unit there is 3 different power sources. One is main power, two is sonar and three is power to data. One you have power going to the 4000 then proceed to other options. I hope you didnt pay full price for your 4000. Lowrance has a replacement process and replaced my 2000 for a 4000 for $120 (2 day shipping). Back to your situation... Out the back of the data will the a cord that connects into the bottom of the T, and the a resistor on one side and the 4000 on the other side.

I have a Power / Data Cable that I do not understand what it connects to

It is not a fish finder but the good news is that the cable connections are listed here: http://www8.garmin.com/support/faqs/faq.jsp?faq=68

The data wires are to send / receive serial data (like waypoints, tracks, routes and software updates) to and from a PC for example or any other 3rd party device that accepts that type of information - the manual will have more help. The 178C is the combined chartplotter / fishfinder - not your model.

Apelco 365 fishfinder. Broken pin on power connector

i did the same damn thing and am amazed this question is on the net. i bought a new system but plan on taking it back. the 365 was a pretty nice model and i'm just going to splice it straight to the power supply. but i was lucky, the two pin connector is the damaged one so drilling it out and splicing it SHOULD be easy. well see. at this point i have nothing to lose.

hope this helps.

GPS antenna

If it is an RS 120 or an RS112 antenna you do not need to change it.These are both active antennas in other words they do all the gps computing in the unit itself. You need to look at the wire from the antenna. If it is a coax cable(2 wire) it will not work.If it is 3 or 4 wires it will work. If 3 wire (red ,silver yellow) just hook up color for color. If 4 wire you are going to have to figure out the wiring for it from the units wiring diagram. That could be a big enough pain that you might be inclined to change to the new antenna. If you wire the new RS125 antenna you must wire it to the seatalk buss. The seatalk wires are Red Silver and Yellow. The wire from the RS125 are red yellow silver green and brown.Wire as follow to your sea talk cable.Yellow to Yellow, red to red , silver to silver, green to red, brown to silver.
Hope this helps.
