Question about Seagate BlackArmor 220 Network Storage Server - 800 MHz - 6 TB 2 x 3
I installed and backed up mp3 files to my NAS 220 from an external drive and when I try to play the files on network computer, it does not recognize the file format.
The file format is dictated by the OS and accessable by software, meaning it needs to associated with a player like Winamp. Try installing a new meida player.
Right clicking the files will also give you the option to assign a program. "Open With." You also need admin rights. This may aslo be the problem, if you are not the owner / administrator.
