Question about Locks & Locksmithing
My onity ht24 turns green when card is inserted into the reader. But it seems like the latch is not activated and does not unlock the door.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

I also have one of these readers and bought a 4gig SD card. When I put it into the reader, I also had the same error message to insert a card into the drive. I was told by a colleague that the reader may not be able to read a card bigger than 2 gigs.

I would like to inform you that Acer's laptop doesn't support all kinds SD memory cards available in local market. Its not compatible with all physical dimensions of various memory card companies. So in that case you need to use EXTERNAL Memory card reader which is attachable to USB ports.
If this solution was helpful to you then please rate 100% (or FIXYA) for this solution, otherwise don't rate at all. It was my pleasure helping you.

SOURCE: Onity lock ht24--In the test
Chris, The HT 24 Lock does not have a keyboard so this test is not relevant to your lock. This test feature is for an Onity lock with a numbered keypad.
Hope this helps. If you have any more problems or questions you can call me or send an email through my web site.
