Question about Bose QuietComfort 15 Headphones

Bose quietcomfort 15 right headphone stopped working

The right headphone of my Bose Quietcomfort 15 suddenly stopped working today (for no apparent reason -- I was just using it as I normally do). I only bought it 10 months ago, so it should still be under warranty, but as I am overseas, this is not a practical option. Any advice on how to fix it? (By the way, changing the batteries and the connecting wire didn't help, so the problem is definitely within the headphones themselves.) Thanks!

My guess is that the flimsy wire connection inside broke. I have worked on Bose earphones that do not even have any strain relief provisions.

Yes Sir, as you have cross checked the audio so other possibilities have been ruled out, the only problem can be with your Head Phone unit, usually what happens is somewhere from inside the wire get cracked, or short resulting in noise or static, so the solution is to replace the wire, but the unit is a delicate thing so I'll never advice to D.I.Y.

How won't my new headphones connect with my I pod through bluetooth


In most cases this is because the new owner didn't read the instructions.

When you turn on Bluetooth on the iPod and click Search, you have to press something on the other piece of equipment to send the signal TO the iPod. Once they find each other, they connect automatically after that.

However, we have a problem. Your headphones Bose Quietcomfort Qc15 don't appear to be Bluetooth enabled! You have to connect with a lead.

How to replace ear cushion on bose QC 3 headphone


The ear cushions are held on the earcup with six snap fasteners, three on each side. To remove the ear cushion, simply pull it away from the earcup carefully so that you do not break the plastic snap tabs.

It should not be necessary to pry the ear cushion off with a sharp object, but if you do, be careful. There is also a thin gasket seal between the earcup and the ear cushion, take care not to damage it.

If you need to replace the ear cushions with new ones, they are available from Bose for $35/pair.

My left ear headset does not work. the right one is fine and the battery is charged,


sounds as if you have a short in the left ear. solution would be to send in to manufacture. Or return to the store.

Only left earphone is working


You should return them to the place you bought them. They should be able to sought the problem out. You might need the sales ticket. Or visit the Bose website. They should have telephone number helpline.

The bose quietcomfort 2 earphones


I've noticed a second or two of silence when bumping the headphone. In my case the battery was low and a fresh battery fixed this particular problem. Or maybe you have a poor connection.

Less sound on one ear than the other


Yeah, based on all of your problems, i would safely say that you have a blown speaker. Call up Bose at 1-800-999-2673. If the headphones are under warranty (1 year) they will replace them for free. If now, they will charge you $100 for a replacement pair, which is quite a deal considering that the headphones cost $300.
