White smoke is usually burnt water.
Check your radiator water level, if it is down, check for a blown head casket in your engine e.g.(water in the engine oil, or oil in the radiator water) brown froth on filler caps.

SOURCE: car will not shift into overdrive

As a response to solution #1 these cars do have an overdrive while in D-4, mine was shifting in and out at 70 mph until it finally quit and the rpm is now 3100 at 70 mph insted of 2700. The car still shifts 4 full times just not the fifth-OD. I still can't find out what fixes this problem either.

SOURCE: my drive 4 light on my honda accord wagon is

There are two speed sensors. One is on the tranny under the throttle bosy and one is under the tranny.

This is the one under the throttle body

This is the one under the tranny near the right wheel. The Countershaft speed sensor is the best bet. i replaced this one on a 1995 honda accord with flashing d4 and after replacement it was gone.the part will be about 125 bucks.

Honda pop up white smoke wken i accelerate coming fom exhaust and using up brake fluid

check your brakes master cylinder for a brake fluid loss getting into the servo and from servo through check valve flow into the inlet manifold and through to valves through to combustion chamber and finally to exhaust pipes to the last buffer.

I have 1988 honda accord and it is emitting white smoke from the tail pipe (a lot of white smoke). can anyone tell me what make this happen.

White smoke comes through the exhaust due to leak in turbocharger seal.It can be solved by replacing the turbocharger kit.

It's certainly the water pump. Have the timing belt and balancer belt changed at the same time.

93 Honda Accord Black Smoke When Accelerating

You have gone past the operating parameters of the computer sensors that measure air flow and manifold pressures There are many websites that deal with honda mods like yours, and likely you will find a cure there. I know there is a map sensor modification that can be made on Jeeps with the same items you have added, likely yours can be done as well. Try google and just type in honda forums and see what comes up.

Burning oil

The engine is worn or it may have been overheated badly in the past and sustained damage to the cylinder walls and rings. A used engine is probably the easiest way to go if you can find a good one. Some people, myself included, might try re-ringing the engine in-frame. This involves removing the cylinder head and the oil pan, pushing the piston and rod assemblies out and re-installing with new rings after honing the cylinders. This is a job for someone with experience so if you can't do it yourself, the used engine route makes more sense.

1993 honda accord burning oil

worn piston rings produce blue smoke all the time especially under acceleration. time for another rebuild or total replacement.. i am not very familiar with metric but thet is still a lot of miles, replace the rings, or replace the engine, or replace the car. it sounds like it is well worn

Idles up and down after warm, but goes away in reverse and drive. 1993 honda accord

I had the same problem with my honda. On the throttle body there is a screw that controls idle speed. If your idle speed is around 800-1000 rpm in neutral, tighten the screw a quarter turn each try until the idle speed is around 1500 RPM. Did this stop the idle?
