SOURCE: hisense 42inch lcd tv

It sounds like it's the inverter panel which lites the lcd back light.
If it's under warranty, try to replace it, or take it in for svc.

I have a HX32N2176h Hisense 32" LED tv will this TV handle and display HD when connected to a Laptop or Android Box with HDMI Cable?

The Hisense HX32N2176H will display an HD signal of 1366x720 with the HDMI input. (Any resolution above 480 (lines of pixels) is considered HD.) However, this isn't a full-HD (1080) capable TV. See https://www.hificorp.co.za/hisense-32in-81cm-hdr-led-tv-hx32n2176 for the specifications. Click on the Technical Details tab.

I hope this helps.

My picture display is narrow and does not cover the screen.

Does the Genie box have screen settings in in? Sometimes hd will show in smaller screens. Makes the picture nicer. If you adjust the screen size with your remote the high definition "niceness" will not be there.

We have just purchased a HiSense LCD HL140V88PZ uTV and we are trying to find a universal remote code for this tv.

I doubt you will find a universal that will work on this set. The company is in southern China and out of business. I have one someone gave me and it needs a board (the remote works fine).

I tried 4 different universal remotes and not one worked on the Hisense set.

Good luck and next time pass unless they have the original remote.

Digital Signal on my Conia TV has gone. Cant access menu for DTV

I would guess that you are using either cable or satellite for reception. If that is the case, the signal is already a "digital" one. The digital reception you are attempting to receive is the over-air broadcast signal that was implemented recently. This change-over only effected those using external antenna connections. Cable and satelite systems have not changed.

Hope this helps,
Dan

My xbox360 Wont work on my WS-55513 MITSUBISHI COMPONENT

Try changing the settings on the Xbox under display to 1080i. If it is 1080 p, or 720p, the image will look funny so make sure it is at 1080i.
