Question about Toshiba Satellite L305-S5918 Notebook
My computor has failed to connect to the internet and wireless network . I was advised that it was missing some drivers. So what can I do install the said drivers?
Download them at a friends house and put them on a USB memory stick.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Bluetooth is not WiFi, they are two seperate technologies.
you need a Wireless adapter 802.11b/g for your laptop,
you would connect the two to each other using an adhoc connection,
If you had a wireless router for your internet you could connect directly to the router, (and then you would not have to have your main computer on for you to access the internet.
BTW if your Main machine is near your phone point (for internet connection) you would not need a wireless card for your pc, as you could connect via LAN cable to the wireless router (make sure you get one with lan ports)
