Question about Masonry Tools
I need to replace the belt on TP400LS planer. Manual doesn't supply any info on how to do this. Any suggestions?

Had the same problem. Drove me nuts trying to figure out where it is coming from. It most likely is a worn in hole in the squirrel cage where the two halves go together. You won't see it unless you remove the fan and both halves of the blower housing. Take them out and put the two together and have a look from the inside. The wear is along the seam. I used hot glue in that area to fill the gap. Squirt it on one half and put the two halves together while hot. Also, you can buy replacements for these. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: How do I replace the
The drive belt is on the side with the handle (you might already know that :>)).
Take the top off, then remove the lifting gears. Remove the side cover. You'll see the cutterhead pulley that has ridges on it to keep the belt from moving in and out. Remove the pulley.
Change your belt and reassemble.
Hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate a 4 thumbs up. Thanks,
