Question about Whirlpool SB160PEE Gas Single Oven
Gas stove top work fine, so I know gas is getting to that part. However, the oven won't heat up. At first I thought it was just the igniter, but even when we turn the oven on and try to manually light it, nothing happens. So, it appears no gas is getting to just the oven.
If your ignitor is coming on that means the oven control is supplying the power to the ignitor and gas valve. So the gas valve is ok because it is allowing for a complete circuit so what the heck is wrong? The ignitor MUST draw 3.5 amps in order to open the gas safety and allow the gas to come out. The ignitor must be very bright, if it is dim then it is bad. (MORE)
