I tried a couple locations and found a site that might help go to psep.biz and it will direct you to the blowup. It also indicated that it needed a type number so have that handy. If this doesn't help let me know and I will research further.

Purchased like new PP4218 from local, bought for his son, after one tree, son lost interest. No manual with saw. What chain and bar do I buy as replacements? He replaced chain, not sure it is correct...

it's an 18 " poulan bar and chain...just a standard bar and chain for poulan...most of the aftermarket brands have a cross reference that will give you an idea on which to use

All my fuel lines fell apart. I do not know where they go.

All Poulans are similar, I am forced to believe your saw is a "2375 Type MyBestGuess".
An example IPL for a Poulan "2375 Gas Chain Saw Type 7" follows (may not be your saw):
The IPL (exploded parts list) for your saw is the only detail for fuel line routing and it is sketchy at best. Fuel components and part numbers are listed but may be on different illustrations. They are also beneficial with disassembly/reassembly: It is deceptive it appears the filtered line goes to the primer, it doe not! It connects to the carburetor input. Trace your existing lines and they will bear my fuel schematic out.

If your saw is not a Type 7, you can find the correct IPL here:

The dash number of your serial number is the type.

How do I hook up a fuel line to a carbuertor on a Poulan 18 inch?

  • The hose in the tank with the filter on the free end connects directly to the carburetor input connection.
  • If the saw is equipped with a primer bulb, an output line from the carburetor connects to the suction side of the primer (once the bulb is collapsed it draws fuel from the tank through the carburetor to refill as it inflates).
  • The pressure side of the primer returns displaced fuel to the tank as it is depressed.
Take lots of notes and a few digital photographs to help with reassembly.

18 inch poulan wildthing doesn't want to start, doesn't seem to be getting fuel.

I suspect your fuel lines have failed, pretty common since use of ethanol in fuels. The IPL (exploded parts list) for your saw is the only detail for fuel line routing and it is sketchy at best. It does show components and part numbers. Find it here:

Any fuel containing ethanol is not good with chainsaws. Mix what you expect to use within a few weeks. Anything over 1.5 months old use up in a 4 cycle engine.

The number you provided don't cross to an exploded parts list.
The drawing can be found here:

https://www.gardnerinc.com/recons/disclaimer-lg.php - Agree; Choose “Product Line”; “Select OEM” & “Select Catalog” both to “Homelite Consumer Products”. A drop down list appears; self explanatory from here.
I advise you find an authorized repair facility for your own safety. HTH

There are multiple drawings, this one may not be the correct one. The detail isn't very good but this is the best illustration for your saw. The "Handle, Chassis, and Bar Assembly" shows what is available. GL
