How do you remove the cover to clean the inside

How do you remove the cover? The right side comes off hinges by removing two large screws in back. How do you get the front over off. I pushed in the three tabs that we accessible because I removed the right side and that frees up that side but the left side of the front is still attached. I removed the screws on the left panel from the back and it wont move? What gives? Help. I need to clean the inside because it is having boot issues.

Get a can of compressed air. You can buy it at any computer store. Blow through the front cover from inside the computer. That should get the dust out. Make sure to blow through the fins on the heat sink that sits on the processor. Blow out all the fans inside the case and on the power supply unit. Don't use a vacuum cleaner. You might **** up some small piece like a jumper on the motherboard which would cause you more problems.

HP LaserJet 3330 Scanner Unit Disassembly Procedure

This is not an Hewlett Packard document, the author does not work for Hewlett Packard and is not responsible for any damage you do to your printer. This procedure is for skilled repair technicians and is not recommended without some knowledge of equipment repair. Proceed at your own risk.

1. Open the document feeder and pull up on the two black tabs on the left and right.
2. Pull up on the right part of the doc feeder then the left, remove doc feeder, set aside.
3. Open front door and rear fuser door.
4. Remove screws closest to teal colored fuser release levers. side cover screws
5. Pull right cover out from back while releasing clip on bottom of cover, pull cover towards the back and remove.
6. Push on indentation at back of left cover and pull out at back, this cover is hinged.
7. Remove four screws now visible at base of scanner assy., two on left two on right.
8. Slide covers towards back and remove.
9. Remove two screws in the back just above the fuser and just below the scanner assy. base. Remove two screws in the front, visible now after removing the scanner assy. base covers on the right and left the left one is just behind the hinged cover near the top hinge.
10. Remove flat ribbon cable on left side at either connection point to disconnect scanner assy. from print engine.
11. Entire scanner assembly can now be slid forward and removed.
12. Close the front, rear and left side doors on the print engine portion and set it aside.
13. Grab front panel face plate at top and pull forward and remove.or pry gently at top of face plate)
14. At top of exposed front panel you will see four slots in the scanner assy. At the third one from the left there is a latch dark grey plastic. Push down on the latch with a screwdriver and slide the whole panel assy. to the right. Lift up and out making sure to disconnect the cable.
15. Remove the three screws in the now exposed dark grey front panel cradle and cover, remove the two cables connecting the cover to the main board, pry gently at the top outer corners of the cover and pull it forward and down, remove the cover.
16. Now remove the four scanner assy. screws one and the center front, center back, center right, center left all are facing down under the assy. (Or just flip it upside down and remove the four visible screws.
17. Turn the unit back upright and remove the four screws at the back/top two of them are down inside where the doc feeder normally goes. Remove the top scanner cover.
18. DANGER your about to work on the scanner carriage itself there is a really good chance that you could break it or the mirrors or bulb so proceed at your own risk.
19. At the top and bottom left side of the black cover enclosing the mirrors are two slots, if you put a small screwdriver in the slots and push gently to the right and lift that side of the cover it should come loose. Then open it to the right and remove it from the right slots.
20. Remove the black screw at the front of the assy., Disconnect the white wires from the CCD board and out of the harness, lift the clear plastic bulb holder out with the bulb then remove it from the rear. it's s a tight fit at the front.)
21. The top mirror is held in by some really tight clips they have to be removed from the bottom right clean the mirrors without this step if possible. NOTE: optical mirrors are not like a bathroom mirror, there is no glass covering the reflective surface. The back side of the mirror has glass covering it so if you get it in backwards it wont work. The way to tell which side you have is touch your screwdriver to the mirror and if its the right side the screwdriver will appear to touch the reflection of the screwdriver, if it's the wrong side the screwdriver will not touch the reflection of the screwdriver because of the glass covering the reflective surface.
22. Now clean the remaining mirrors and lens very thoroughly with alcohol. Make sure they are very clean. You can put the top mirror back and clean it in place to make cleaning it easier.
23. When reassembling the top cover check to make sure the white strip on the right side is clean.
24. Reverse procedure for re-assembly.

Replace lcd on gateway NV57h77u

I disagree. The procedure is so easy no Service Manual is needed

1) Remove ALL power. Remove the AC adapter, and Battery.

2) Open the laptop.

The plastic frame in front of the LCD screen is the Display Bezel.
(Gateway? Believe they call it the LCD Panel Bezel)

Down in the BOTTOM corners, next to the Hinges, are screws to be removed. One in each bottom corner.

There are Screw Covers over these screws. The Screw Covers need to be removed.
Little round covers I believe to be made of plastic.
(Some models they are made of synthetic rubber)

I use a computer pick to Gently remove them.
Some use the tip of an X-Acto knife. I do not recommend this as there is a possibility of injury.
Perhaps a large darning needle. (Needle you sew with, but is Large in size)

Pick up at one edge of Screw Cover. Screw Covers are held on by a type of rubber cement.
I LIGHTLY stick them to the Display Bezel for safekeeping.

(Yes. They like to stick to the tool, your fingers, and it seems passing jets in the sky.
If you are careful with them, you should be able to reuse them.
If they do not stick anymore, use a toothpick, and apply a TINY dab of rubber cement to them/it )

Once the Screw Covers are removed use a No.1 Philips screwdriver, or equivalent Jewelers screwdriver; to remove the 2 screws.

The Display Bezel has TABS going around the exterior perimeter, of it's inside edges.
These Tabs snap into matching LATCHES on the Display Cover.

You can come from the Outside edge, where the Display Bezel meets the Display Cover, and use a thick guitar pick.

The guitar pick is wedged into the parting line, of where the Display Bezel meets the Display Cover.

Once a 'crack' is formed in-between the two, then the fingertips are used to gently start popping the bezel from the cover.

You slowly go along with your fingertips, and work along the top, then sides. By the time you have both sides almost loose, the Display Bezel usually pops off.

I like the flex method.
Come to the inside edge of the Display Bezel.
Where it meets the LCD screen. I suggest start on the Right side/Middle.

Use a fingertip, and lift up the inside edge of the Display Bezel up a little. Can't lift up at that spot? Move over. You are at a Tab/Latch.

With this spot lifted up a little, use the fingertip of the other hand, and slide under next to it.
Now use your fingertips as wedges, and pop the Display Bezel loose a little at a time.

I start at the Right side/Middle as stated. Left hand fingertips go DOWN the right side, Right hand fingertips go UP the right side.
Then I go across the Top, and down the Left side.

MOST of the time, as stated; the Display Bezel usually pops off when right side, and left side are most of the way popped loose.
NOT always though!

Sometimes you have to pop EACH and EVERY Tab/Latch loose.

Also; watch around the Hinge area/s.
Display Bezel can get hung up around them.
Go slow, and gently work the Display Bezel off, around the Hinge areas.

Display Bezel popped off, sit back; relax. You just did the hard part.
Wasn't so tough, huh?

This is what the Display Bezel looks like removed,

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gateway-NV57H15U-LCD-Front-Bezel-15-6-AP0HJ00021-/171020787909?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27d1a220c5

The MAIN view shown is a BACK view.
In the smaller views underneath, the 4th view from the Left, shows the FRONT view.

If you SET your mouse cursor in the middle of the Main view photo, the Zoom In feature is enabled.
You can CLICK on any of the smaller views, to make them appear as a Main view.

You can also see that the Hinge Covers, are an integral part of the Display Bezel. Shows you that when removing the Display Bezel, these Hinge Covers may need to be worked off of the Hinges.

Of course, may not; as I have previously stated.

The LCD screen is an Assembly. It is composed of layers.
These layers are kept in the factory set alignment, by a metal Screen Frame.
The Screen Frame resembles a picture frame.

There are THREE screws on each side of the Screen Frame.
These screws (Philips) go through metal Brackets, and hold the LCD screen/Screen Frame; to the Display Cover.

The Brackets are an integral part of the Hinges,

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gateway-NV55-NV57-LCD-Left-Hinge-Rail-Bracket-AM0HJ000100-/400334888754?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5d35d19f32

On EACH side, there is 1 screw towards the Top, 1 screw towards the Bottom/Middle, and 1 screw towards the Bottom.

Remove all 6 screws.

At the Top is the Webcam Cable. Unplug it from the Webcam Module.
(Cable pulls to LEFT side, facing laptop)

The TOP of the LCD screen is now tilted forward.
The Video Cable plugs into the Bottom side.

There should be a piece of clear Mylar tape, holding the Video Cable connector in place. Carefully peel it back, unplug the Video Cable from the LCD screen.

Remove the LCD screen.

Reverse steps to install new LCD screen.

Want to switch the side the door opens on my lg dryer

The directions for reversing the door can be found on page 13 and 14, with pictures of the operation. Open the door to reverse. Check the 10 screws that need to be removed (6 on the left, 4 on the right). Remove 4 dummy screws with a screwdriver. Remove the two screws from, and disassemble, the latch. Hold on to the hinge while removing 4 screws from the hinge (to prevent the door from dropping). Remove the door from the cabinet cover. Move the door to the left side and insert a hinge into a hinge hole. Hold on to the hinge while screwing down the hinge (to prevent the door from dropping). Insert the latch to the right side and install the screws. Screw down the 4 dummy screws to the right side. Check that the door closes and latches properly.

When dryer finishes it just keeps on beeping

Instructions

1

Open the door to the dryer and remove the screws in the hinge. Lay a towel on top of the dryer. Place the dryer door on the towel with the inside facing up.
2

Remove the screws from the inside of the dryer door. Disassemble the dryer door carefully, removing the cover on the right side of the innermost section of the door and the shield and hinge from the left side of the innermost section. Reattach the side cover to the left side of the innermost part of the door. Install the new shield to the right side of the door section, with the flat side against the door and the notches facing up (they will face into the dryer). Attach the hinge on the same side as the shield.

3

Set the top section aside. Rotate the remainder of the door 180 degrees so that the handle is on the left of the upside down door. Check that the latch aligns with the cover before screwing the door back together. Screw the hinge into the corresponding holes on the left side of the dryer door frame. Remove any stickers that might be blocking the holes.
4

Check the alignment of the door by opening and closing it several times. Loosen the screws on the hinge and nudge the door slightly until the fit is correct. Tighten the screws into place.

How do you open case to clean inside of glass

Lock the carriage first! Remove the two medium-sized Phillips screws under the hinge and the small one over the small plastic cover plate. Remove that cover plate. Slide the top tray (glass and cover) off the frame by pulling laterally in the direction of the hinge. It will snap out if you work on it. Clean the glass. Slide tray back in and seat it securely. Put the large screws in to hold the carriage. You won't be able to screw them in if the cover isn't seated right. Now make sure the 5-conductor ribbon cable that is under the small plastic cover plate gets stuck back in the socket. You just push it into the tiny black socket. I think that tells the scanner what's going on with the cover. Then reinstall the cover plate. Now you should be good to go! Don't forget to unlock the carriage.

Here are the steps:

Remove and set aside the scanner cover

With printer facing away from you, remove the screw from under the right-hand corner of the lid at the very back behind the hinge. Then remove the two (shorter) screws from the top of the lid, in the square openings.

Turn the printer around, and carefully raise the entire lid. At this point, it is advisable to place a cloth over the printer innards, in case you drop a screw. Remove the three screws along the front of the lid, inside the round recesses, pointing upwards.

Remove the two screws on each side of the lid, pointing upwards.

Gently coax the dark gray cover away from the lighter gray base of the lid. It is probably easier to do this by pulling the front corners slightly outwards, and sliding a finger in between. The top of the lid should come off easily, exposing the underside of the glass.

After cleaning, replace the cover carefully. The lid must be up, and the posts of the hinges must align with the holes at the back. In stall the two (short) screws in these locations first, then replace all the remaining longer screws.

Good luck!!
