Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
Whirlpool Front-load GHW 9100LW1
Thawed out the water line, machine started to fill with water immediately...even without it being turned on. Power is on to outlet but washer will not turn on. Pressed control lock/unlock, but nothing happens.
We had to turn the water off to the machine because it keeps filling up with water
You have some scale or something keeping the water fill valve open most likely. If it still tries to fill unplug the machine if it still tries to fill do the following. Remove the fill valve and disassemble it. If you see the dirt or rust flush it out when it looks clean reassemble it and before you attach the hoses put them in the washer and turn them on to flush out the lines then reattach hoses and try it.
If this helps you please rate me with as high a retign as possible. If not please restate your problem and help me understand better what trouble your having. Thnks for using fixya and good luck.
