New kenmore dryer, set up right from box, wont turn on
Model on dryer is c88106, but book that with it doesn't have that # cc888072,cc88092,cc88172,cc88192.The power cord was connected when it came. The fuses are ok. We plugged it into the existing wall plug, which work for my old dryer.(Hotpoint 25 yrs old still worked.)

bad heater box fuse, get the model number from inside the dryer door, and go to your local appliance parts store and give them the number and they will get you a thermal fuse kit, remove the back of dryer and you will see the heater box on the right side
Check to make sure that both legs of the 220V feed are presnt. The motor will run on only one leg. Otherwise, on that model, check the thermal overloads mounted on the heater box, and also check the heating element for continuity.
I have a kenmore dryer, bought used, and it was working good but it now wont turn on. The light inside comes on when the door is opened, but no matter what the setting, it wont start. It's the Kenmore 70 series, front loading electric dryer. Is there a fuse or reset button I can try?
