Question about InFocus ScreenPlay 4805 Multimedia Projector
It appears that others have had the same problem as myself. I was wondering if there was a repair manual that I could download to assit me in removing the housing and getting to those little mirrors that may have to be glued. I really don't want to replace the bulb whereas there's only a few hundred hours on it. Also, could you reply to me at my email.
Thanks very much
This problem is not the lamp!!
However you are correct in your diagnosis of the failed light pipe/tunnel. There are post's on the internet with instructions how to repair the light pipe. To actually be successful in your effort to do this yourself you need to be familiar and comfortable with delicate optics and have good common sense and electro-mechanical skills.
If you actually need instructions you should probably just take it to a service center as it's easy to cause collateral damage just getting to it.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
