How do you charge a USG-001 that doesn't seem to fit

How do you charge dreamGEAR rechargable battery pack for the Nintendo DS LT? It does not seem to fit anywhere on the game console.

It is a 3.7v 1000mAH Li-ion battery.

Please respond. We paid $20.00 for the pack which inluded a Car Charger for the Nintendo DS LT. Thank you!

P.S. Also, is there a manual that has illustrations for this type of thing?

I haven't played my wii in a while and have just plugged it all in and my controllers are not working. They don't seem to be charging in the docking station, their individual docks are not lighting up...

Yes they should light up blue when they are charging.
Double check and make sure your docking station is still plugged in and turned on.

Most Docking stations are third party accessories, meaning, they were not manufactured by Nintendo. Some of them do not work very well.

If all else fails, remove the rechargeable battery pack from the Wii Remote and put regular AA batteries inside of it. The Wii Remote should work just fine.

Personally, I prefer to use rechargeable AA batteries rather than charging packs or docking stations. The charge packs/docking stations just never seem to work as well as they're supposed to. The rechargeable AA's work great and they're much more versatile since they're not limited to use in the Wii.

The DS won't hold a charge, even when plugged in with recharger. When left on recharger, still show's red in battery life. Cannot play.

Sounds like the battery has burned out.

If your DS is still under warranty then go to:
http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/manuals/warrantytext_eng.jsp

You can put in the serial number & check the warranty status.

If it is out of warranty then but a battery from somewhere like Amazon for cheap and replace it.

My son's nintendo ds has been charging for a day now, but it

The battery is probably completely drained. Rechargeable batteries have a certain lifetime in which they can be charged to. The charge limit for a Nintendo DS is approx. 500 charges. When you pass this limit the battery will no longer work. Your best option is to buy a replacement battery at http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/
After a year or more a rechargeable battery won't last as long as it did when it was new.

Charger socket broken

That little black thing goes into the charger so without it, or something to replace it, you can not charge, unless you somehow found a way to take out the battery and charge it outside of the ds. I would highly recommend sending it back to Nintendo or something like that.

My DS power

How long have you had that battery in your DS? The more you use (play and charge) the battery, the battery's capacity is decreased. Try getting a new battery at,
usg.html">http://www.calcellular.com/ntd-ba-usg.html (for DS lite)
or
nds.html">http://www.calcellular.com/ntd-ba-nds.html (for DS).

Nintendo ds not charging

. go to ebay or even gamestop and purchase a new battery. sounds like the battery might have gave up. these kind of things happen, rare but happen

oither things it could be is a cold solder. the female power jack might not be fully soldered on the board. causing the battery not to be able to charge.

i think if you change the battery it will work. make sure you get the correct model/brand u dont want no knock off batterys
