Uninstall it. Sounds like you installed the wrong driver.

Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "HPSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the drivers.

I have a Designjet 5500ps Printer and it is leaking blue ink, when printing, all my research indicates that I need to replace the carriage tube connector, but I am unable to find the replacement part.

Hi there

May be you can try to contact any Authorised HP Service centre for your probelm. Could you give me your correct location so i can tell you whome to contact?

Alternatively you can try to see where the leakage is taking place and try to seal it with silicon sealent so it can atleast last untill someone attends to the probelm from HP.

The technical term for it is INK TUBE ASSY. But make sure and tell the HP people about the size of the plotter that is 42" or 60" and also keep the Product Number and Sl. No. of the machine handy which is required by HP technical team. (You can find it at the back of the plotter)

Click here to find all the spares for your plotter.

After replacing the cartridges (and removing the plastic tape) my HP PSC 1610 does not function. There is a message that says NO MECH mode, and the orange exclamation point is flashing. What is the remedy?...

Solution
  1. Verify that the control panel overlay is not holding the Setup button down.
  2. Verify that nothing is stacked on top of the unit that might put pressure on the Setup button.
  3. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the unit to turn off the all-in-one.
  4. Press and hold the Setup button and connect the power cord to the back of the unit to take the unit out of No Mech Mode . Release the Setup button.
Service the Product - Contextual Wrapper There might be a problem with the product hardware or a component may not be functioning correctly. The next step is to service the product. If you have completed all the preceding steps and are still experiencing a problem, service the product. Determine if your product is in warranty or out of warranty. If you need help determining your product's warranty status, go to HP's Warranty Check Tool .
  • If your product is in warranty , contact HP.
  • If your product is out of warranty , fees might apply for contacting HP.
If you have completed all the preceding steps and are still experiencing a problem, service the product. Determine if your product is in warranty or out of warranty. If you need help determining your product's warranty status, go to HP's Warranty Check Tool .

Change boot setup settings of the motherboard Thx

During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup
Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS the scroll down to advanced bios features press enter change your first boot device to cd,press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart
(note after you have loaded the operating system you must go back and change the first boot device to your hard drive)
The BIOS is AMI. Under ADVANCED SETUP:
The options listed for 1st,2nd ,3rd Boot device include:
IDE-0 means Pri master ?
IDE-1 means Pri slave ?
IDE-2 means Sec master ?
IDE-3 means Sec slave ?

hope this helps

Master/Slave designation is determined by jumpers on IDE drives. Most drives have adequate markings on them to identify these jumper positions. If not marked clearly, you will need the manufacturer's data to determine that designation.
If you are curious about a working system just power-up in set-up mode (usually by depressing (f1-or-f2) during boot-up sequence, your system-bios will display this information for you.
