Turn the screw labled T in a little. This will raise the idle setting. Heres a link to the manual. Look on page 29 of the .pdf

SOURCE: Husqvarna Model 141 Chainsaw Carb adjustment

The tool you need is available from Randy's Engine Repair, on his E-Bay store. The price is about $10., plus $3. shipping. Phone for Randy's is (937) 927-5665. It is usually busy.
Ebay item number is: 390025452838. Buy it online. I got mine about a week after I ordered it.

SOURCE: I have a husqvarna 55. I put in a new carb, coil,

If you are still having problems I would check or replace white grommet inserted into cylinder and connected to manifold, they have issues with breaking or blowing out. This model also has problems with the black intake boot not sealing around cylinder and manifold,an easy check by spraying a LITTLE carb cleaner around problem area.

SOURCE: carburetor tool

Unless you are skilled enough to make your own, you are stuck taking the saw to a servicing dealer as they are the only ones allowed to possess the necessary 'D' head screwdriver. Give thanks to the EPA for mandating the prevention of mal-adjustment pollution.

Which screw is the high and low when adjusting carb

if you have three screws then the one that is by itself will be the idle (usually labeled L) then you will have 2 side by side. the screw closest to the cylinder is the low and the one farthest from the cylinder is high. if you only have 2 screws then there isn't an adjustment for high

How to adjust carberator

Some Husqvarna carbs require a special screwdriver to adjust them, some just use a mall flat head tuning screwriver.

H 3/4of a turn L1 full turn (Chainsaws)

Some equipment like blowers and strimmers are:-
H 2 1/4 turns out L 2 1/4 turns out

What do you mean by LA in the chainsaw?

Locate the adjustment screws near the carburetor labeled with an "H," an "L," and an "LA." The "H" screw adjusts the high speed fuel-air mixture; the "L" screw adjusts the low speed fuel-air mixture; and the "LA" screw adjusts the idle speed.

What tool is needed to adjust H & L on a Husqvarna 142 chainsaw ?

This machine has a carb with splined adjuster screws, the toll to adjust them is part no. 530035560, it is readily available however i heard that the dealers in the US are very reluctant to sell it to end useres, so you may have to buy off the web.

We just changed the printhead, but now it is not printing correctly. Barely any ink shows up on the label. We tried adjusting the screws like the manual says but it did not work

bakery28: Loosen the top screws and then adjusts the position of the head with the front screws. This is a bit complicated and requires patience. Finally, tighten the top screws.
