I'm having an lg kg200 and have a gprs connection from airtel. but i don't know how to set my phone because i was unable to recieve the settings automatically from airtel. pls help me out con 9894955247

That is where Airtel takes us for a ride. Once you have GPRS activated then they send you the settings by am sms. These settings are for Mobile office, Airtel Live and MMS. Mobile Office is free under GPRS whatever plan you have. But for using Live and MMS you pay through your nose despite GPRS.
So, go to settings and delete the Airtel Live and MMS so thet even my mistake you do not use them. Use only Mobile Office.
hi, i am giving u the steps for Airtel Live settings for ur mobile. Go to the Browser in your mobile DataAccount –> GPRS –> Edit the Existing Account Account Name : Airtel Live (what ever u want) APN : airtelfun.com Username : leave blank Password : leave blank Auth Type : Normal Then Done –> save the setting Browser –> WAP –> Setting –> Edit Profile –> select a profile then Edit Rename : GPRS (what ever u want) Homepage : http://live.airtelworld.com Data Account : Airtel Live (This is the Name of the Previosly we edit) Connection : HTTP proxy address : 100.001.200.099 Proxy port :8080 Username : leave blank Password : leave blank You are done. Go to the Browser it will open the AirtelLive home page

all u have to do is call customer care @121-> select the option to talk to the customer care rep.-> he/she will give you the direct no. of gprs or else they will themselves send the gprs settings to ur cellphone. u will recieve three msgs
1>gprs settings for your cellphone. save these setting? press yes
2>the gprs settings have been sent to your mobile
please save those settings and enjoy airtel live!

1.you will need first of subscribe for gprs from service provider 2.then get setting of gprs on your phone (send me provider name i will send u settings) 3.install pc suit
