If possible, go into your media library and save them to a flash drive. Then take them to your PC and transfer them to any folder you like, preferably a folder specifically marked for PS3 stuff. I'm assuming that the videos are actually saved in the video folder on the PS3, but if they aren't they are probably in your saved data. Either way, you can transfer them to you PC freeing up space to save more on the PS3 system. I have done this myself with other saved data as well as video and haven't had any problems moving them back and forth.

How to Stream Media From Your Computer to the iPad

Let’s say that you are a media freak. You love music and have more songs on your computer than one could imagine. You also love movies and video just as much, and have an impressive library on your computer that has built up over the years. And one day, you want to stream your favorite movie to new bought iPad, found that some of the video is not supported by iTunes, such as MKV, HD video. What’s gone you do ? How will you be able to enjoy them then on your tablet? Do you just call it a loss and chalk it up to laziness, or do you have another option? Luckily, you can access all of those media files from your computer with the iPad, via the iPad video converter application.

iPad video converter is an app that takes all the dirty work out of the enjoyment of media files that exist on your laptop or computer. Depending on your personal library, the process of conversion and transfer to the iPad could be very easy and fast. I don’t know about you, but when I want to watch a bunch of movies from my favorite actors or watch a particular flick, I want to do it right then and there. Waiting for a long time is not an option. iPad video converter seems to be tailor made for us folks that value simplicity and their time.

Before we get into how to use this app, let’s discuss one major problem that it may solve besides your instant yearning for media: storage space. Say you bought the 16GB version of the iPad. Depending on your love for media, that may be nowhere near enough storage for all of your content. If you house that content on your computer, however, and just stream it to the iPad, the storage problem becomes a thing of the past. Many people may find this space-saving characteristic of the app to be its main attraction.

Okay, so all of this sounds great. How do you get it to work, and is it complicated? Not at all. First, you will want to download the iPad video converter app on your computer. Once that is complete, you need to install the app on you computer. When installations is finished, launch the app you just installed, select the file your want to convert, set the out put format for your file ,usually it MP4 format, start the conversion, transfer it to iTunes after it is done, you will be able to see your computer’s shared data via the iPad.

Your mileage may vary as to the app’s performance when used with your computer, but it does a good job of streaming the content for the most part. It supports various popular file formats, such as AVI ,MKV, allows you to play all files in a single folder, can shuffle content to give you a change of pace, and much more.

This is due to very less availablity of free space in your external SD card. I think it is time to upgrade to a new SD card or try freeing some space in the existing SD Card

What do i need to transfer video from my insignia HD DV camcorder to my mac properly?

The best solution I have found for Mac is to use either Handbrake or FFmpegX. Both are free transcoding applications on the web.

Perform a Google search, download, and start transcoding.

Handbrake I believe is all-inclusive as a single installable package.

FFmpegX requires you to download libraries and create relationships between the App and these libraries so it's a little more challenging to work with.

Hope this helps!

Hi, this message usually appears in the following circumstances:
  1. Not enough hard drive space - check how much space is available and free up space if required.
  2. The location where you are saving your files, all ready has a file with the same name. - You can select a different location to save your files via Epson Scan settings, move or delete existing file.

The mic won't record because it says there is an insuffic memory space

Use the easyRip Player Library module to see what media you have on your device and remove items until you have enough free space to record.

Use Windows Explorer to manually navigate to the files and remove items until you have enough free space to record.

Pen drive display free space 0 byte and used space also 0 byte

Try formatting the drive. Assuming Windows XP, just open your "my computer" icon, right-click on the device and choose format. Be aware, formatting will remove any data you may have had on there previously.

If you're using another OS, or if it's an existing drive, please re-state your question giving further details (what OS, what you are trying to retrieve, etc).

Ipod music is gone, but still says it has stuff on it

If you do this through itunes, it should be okay. The trouble is everytime you want to update your ipod, you will need to connect it with itunes and itunes will need to have your existing library that you created for you ipod to perform a quick and troublefree update.

If you are going to get an external harddrive you will need to re-direct where itunes is saving your music and video files. Because itunes will be using your internal harddrive for the system files (that is where windows is), it will automatically save the music to your internal drive. I suggest reloding an updated version of itunes from http://www.apple.com/itunes/ here and when asked where to install it, redirect it from C:programfiles.......to your external harddrive. This way the itunes music folder will be on your external harddrive.

Hope this helps

I recently bought an ipod nano and it says there is 3.16 gb of other on my memory is there a way to free up that space so i can download my purchased songs to my ipod

what is the capacity of the player? also did you already load up some content onto your ipod yet? if you want to save more space, check to see what file types are on your player. for music on an ipod, i believe it only plays mp3 or aac. if you want to save space, convert any mp3 files to aac format. you can find that option under "advanced" and then click on "convert selection to aac". forgot to mention to highlight all of the songs that you want to convert in your library. a nice little short cut if you want to convert all of them is Ctrl+A. hope that helps!
