My computer is failing to automatically reastart .

Restart your computer During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup usually the Delete or F2 key this will vary depending on your computer and operating system usually the Delete or the F2 key Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS using the arrow keys load failsafe defaults or load optimized defaults press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart. if this fails to fix the problem During the boot process tap the f8 button three times this will boot into safe mode where the only things working will be your mouse and keyboard enabling you to attempt to repair your computer you could select the option start at last known configuration that worked this will tell what file has been corrupted or missing you might be able to work your way through problem if you are unable to find a solution restart back into safe mode you might need to select your operating system to load into safe mode To perform a system restore, follow these steps: 1.Click Start, click Run, type msconfig, and then click OK. 2.On the General tab, click Launch System Restore. 3.Select Restore my computer to an earlier time, and then click Next. 4.Calendar dates in bold are possible restore points. Click the most recent one to view system restore information. 5.Select a system checkpoint or an installation restore point, and then click Next. 6.Close all other programs. 7.To start the system restore, click Next. 8.Your computer restarts. Repeat steps 1 through 8 until you fix your configuration issue.

Panasonic cf-27 toughbook cant find usb cd/floppy

sounds like who ever rebuilt the unit didn't load all of the mother board resourses.

I would call them to make it right...if not...go to the panasonic web site for all of the driver for that unit and just load them.

Emachince t3604 with vista wont boot just a blank screen tried to get bios screen safe mode etc. but nothing shows on the monitor. n e advice?

Make sure --- turn power off, leave off for 30 seconds. Power up again, holding the F2 key down. This WILL take your eMachines into Setup (BIOS). If it doesn't then your keyboard is most likely defective. If it does get you to setup, press F10 and Enter. Reboot with Ctrl+Alt+Del and this time hold the F8 key down ... just hold it down till something happens, choose Start in Safe Mode with Network Support. Again if F8 doesn't work probly says Keyboard is bad. This is for whatever Operating System you are using.

I have a Sony Vaio VGC-RB30. It will turn on and the mouse does not work. It shows the amber light on the front. I can use the key board to move around and use the computer. I cannot enter safe mode when...

Josh-

You should try to get a hold of a USB mouse (different one)
If you shut down the machine and restart using this mouse it will be automatically detected and should bypass the problem.

Once you are in you can enter the device manager (right click on MY COMPUTER and properties)

Find Mice and other pointing devices in the list and delete any that look disabled or yellow (!)

Good Luck!

Can't enter setup

Hi if you want to enter the bios setup normally you will press del button at boot just after you turn on. Sometimes it isn't del button it may be F1 key and some machine require you to hold the F1 key down then turn on.

Hope this is of some use to you.
