depending on how many speaker you intend to run will determine the type of amp you will need. Set the output on the source unit to optical out. Connect the optical cable to the amp. Connect the speakers to amp. turn them all on and select the iput of the source unit on the amp and enjoy.

Yes, its absolutely possible. You can connect external speakers from analog output of TV. Even you can use AV receivers available in the market which can be used to amplify OR process the tv sound with latest digital processing techniques, it would be very much pleasant than the sound from tv.

get a 3.5mm -> rca adapter. You need to convert from the 3.5mm jack that your speakers uses to the rca jacks that your tv expects.

On your tv you only have a Digital audio output (optical) ( TOSLINK ) which means that you can connect to it only a receiver that has an optical entry and only to it you can connect some speakers.
