I fixed my Kindle Fire not coming on by plugging in Kindle Fire to charge and let it charge for 2 hours and then holding down the on button for up to 2 minutes until the Tablet reset and turned on the screen. I have had to do this twice now and I have had my Kindle Fire for over 4 years now. Rich
