Depends on the size of the unit in tons, every one of them is different, looks like a 5 ton, if you cant get the old capacitor and read it, it should be a dual cap. call a local dealer and see if they can quote you a cost on replacing it and ask which one they are quoting you, then you will know.

Need cap size for Armstrong A/C unit # SBU10B30A

The value of that cap is stamped on the metal case of the cap. The number just before the letters uF is the number you're looking for.

Panasonic cu2473kr hello I am after the pipe sizes suitable for a five meter run from outdoor to indoor unit or a service manual would be great thanks

The proper size is dictated by the connection points on the inside unit. Measure the two refrigerant lines and run that sizes to your outside unit. This piping needs no adjustment for 5 meters (a little less than 20 feet).

Blower stops running after 10 to15 minutes of running

This could be caused by several things but the most logical is vapor lock. The unit should have a vented gas cap, try running with about 1/2 tank or so with gas cap off or just barely on, if this affects it causing it to run proper your problem is just a clogged vent in the fuel cap.

Capillary tube

You can determine this by taking a numbered drill bit index and inserting the proper size diameter but end of the bit into the cap tube. You can then mic the butt end or cross reference to chart giving size of numbered drill bits. The length is also very important when sizing, cap tubes must be as close to exact length as possible. Also cap tubes must be scored with 3 corner file and broken off so as not to alter inside diameter.
Or you could use a cap tube chart. Try
Apply Freon type, compressor HP, temp range of unit, number of feeds.

I have a intertherm e2eb-012ha. I need to know what size run cap to use. . The plastic coating has been melted so I can not see the run cap info.

It appears you may already have located your problem, the capacitors are very coming to burn out, if a motor will run after you spin by hand, mmore times than not the capacitor is the problem. The name tag on the equipment itself sometimes has the capacitor size and the motor nameplate usually does as well. you can call Nordyne support at 18004224328 and with your Intertherm Model number they can give you the correct capacitor size, which you can purchase at any HVAC supply house. If I had to guess, I would say you need a 5 mfd capacitor based on the blower size. but call them and verify. Also, most all supply houses that sell that capacitor can run the Intertherm numbers and see the correct size as well.

I have a 6 yr old lennox merit 10acc system and the compressor doesn't seem to be running as there is no cold air and line out of compressor is not cold/sweating like my 2nd (good) unit.

you cant check capacitor with power on it nor using volt setting.need micro ferred setting on meter and check with power off and wires removed. leads go as follow for fan one lead on "C" and one on fan. For compressor one lead on Common and one on HERM. Also be sure voltage on capacitor is correct 360V or 440V. 440V will work for either. Also double check micro ferred requierment on motor and compressor. If its been replaced before may have been replaced with incorrect size. It happens.

This is approximately a 3.2- 3.3 cubic foot tub it is about 6 years old and is patterned after Maytag's Magic Chef line. It was a decent unit. They are most prone to loud brake squeak at the end of the spin cycle and somewhat higher than normal transmission failures. Not a bad washer though.

My Zanussi ZKG5540 top oven often goes out after being properly turned on but only if we are using the main oven at the same time. British gas advise we gave great pressure and we have a new main all the...

sounds like the appliance regulator is not allowing enough flow to properly run both units at the same time.Make sure the top of the regulatr (the rectangular unit) the gas is hooked to at the unit from te main gas connection, is set for the proper gas . there usually a cap on the top of the reg. under the cap there is a adjstment scew or an insert that can be flipped to increase or decrease the flow of gas to the unit.

I have a 1600 watt amplifier wiring kit w/0.5f digital stiff cap and it has no instructions how can i get some?

Place the amp where you are going to permanently mount it. The cap. should be as close to the amp as possible. Run the positive cable from the pos. terminal of the battery to the pos. terminal on the cap. Then from the cap's pos.terminal run a cable to the pos. terminal on the amp. Dont install the fuse into the fuse holder just yet. Make sure you place the fuse holder at most 10 inches or closer to the battery. Find a good ground point to run the negative cable to the cap. make this one as short as posible, use any good solid metal part of the car's chassis or bolt that runs into the body. Run another ground cable from that piont or nearby point to the amp's negative terminal. run the rca cables from the back of the head unit outputs to the inputs on the amp. Then run the small gauge remote wire from the amp remote output from the head unit to the remote turn-on terminal on the amp. run your speaker wires from your amp to your speakers. Install the fuse, it will spark a tiny bit when installed, its normal thats just your stiff cap and the caps inside your apm charging. Usually you charge the cap before you introduce it into the system to prevent that spark but a cap that size doesn't create a huge spark. good luck

Capacitor unable to read what size

If it's the condenser fan motor cap then look at the label on the fan motor for the size usally 3/5 mfd.
If its the compressor run cap then check the top of the compressor or the info. plate/sticker on the unit for the size of the cap. Let me know if you have any other questions.
