My experience has been that if the drum does not spin freely, or "sticks", there is either something stuck between the inner and outer tubs, or your rear bearing is going bad. This could also be the cause of your belt coming off. If the drive motor is still turning and the drum suddenly stops, the motor could be pulling the belt off the drive pulley. I have found items like zip ties, bra straps, shoe strings, etc. in between the two tubs, wrapped around the bearing shaft. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to get to it without removing the wash tub and disassembling. If you notice a brownish colored spray pattern inside the casing of the machine then you know your bearing is probably shot. These same stains can also be found on your clothes. The bearing can sometimes leak when it goes bad. Now, the draining issue sounds like something else. There should be an electric drain pump that removes water from the wash tub. Is the drain pump coming on? If so, you may have something clogged in the drain line just prior to the pump. If you can access the inside of the washer, look for the drain pump. First, unplug the washer. The pump is a small electric motor (white, black or gray in color) towards the front of the machine with a drain line going to it from the bottom of the wash tub. Give the drain hose a squeeze. There should not be anything inside the line, except maybe some residual water. In some models there may be a plastic strainer that is used to catch coins and small objects, but nothing else. Wash cloths and underwear are notorious for getting between the two wash tubs and getting stuck in the drain line. If you find something caught in the drain line, suck the water from the wash tub with a wet/dry shop vac, first (if you have one). This will minimize the amount of water that comes out the drain line. Disconnect the drain line and clean out the drain line. If your pump is equipped with a screw on trap, remove it and check for debris as well. You could also have something caught in the trap, restricting the movement of the pump impeller. Now, if the you don't hear the pump running at all the pump may be bad. If you can give me some more info, I may be able to give more guidance. let me know.

According to what I could find about Hotpoint washers, F13 has to do with the water supply system. Check your inlet valve and your hot and cold hose connections. You could have an inlet valve that is starting to fail and/or it may be clogged with sediments. You can check the inlet by shutting off the water and removing the hoses from the machine. Check the connections that the hoses connect to on the back of the washer. The inlet screens should be clear and free of debris. I have found that even the smallest amount of sediment can restrict water flow enough sometimes to cause fill problems. If dirty, clean out with a cotton swap. Also hold both hoses inside the wash tub and turn the valves back on to make sure the hoses aren't obstructed. If all else fails, you may just have to replace the inlet valve itself.

Noise from machine

1.check if the bra wire is poking out of one of the drums.Check for drum bearing failure if your washing machine is noisy on the spin cycle. Drum bearing failure is common when the bearing seals start allowing water to enter. You can take the belt off and spin the drum by hand, and if the drum rumbles, replace the bearings.

2.clear the water pump from obstractions like coins or small objects there might be some coins stuck in it that are causing discomfort.

if all the above fails try to run the motor alone without the belt if you still hear the noise its the motor that has a problem

Hotpoint ultime wt640 has a slight squeek seem to be on front around door area had top off and turned drum motor and drum seem fine and springs ok

Remove rear cover of washer, remove drum belt, and from front of washer, spin drum by hand.
There should be no noticeable noise.
If you can still hear sqeek, then it could be a drum bearing that is dry or starting to fail. or the drum is rubbing on the front of the door seal
You should be able to detect what it is this way.

On the final spin the washing machine is so loud you cant even be in the same room as it, it is not vibrating externally as far as i can tell

Remove rear access panel, and remove the drive belt.
Spin drum by hand, and if it feels rough or noisy, then the main drum bearings have failed, if no noise, then check motor for noise, if no noise, check the concrete wieghts are not loose, and that the dampers are not broken or worn.

Drive belt on hotpoint wm56 keeps coming off when machine goes on fast spin. I have fitted a new belt but it still keeps happening.

Make sure belt is reasonably tight, and it is in the center of the drum pulley, if it still comes off, then I would suspect that the drum bearings are worn, or the drum is running out of alighnment, or the motor bearings are worn, if it is noisy when you spin the drum by hand, then the bearings have definately failed.
