On my Washer Model WFW95HEXLO, I am getting no water entering the machine. Have checked water supply (both hot and cold) cleaned both screens, but still no water comes in upon starting up. What else should I be checking?

This error relates to the motor drive. Plug off the wall, open up behind, look for broken belt. If the belt is good its the motor brushes. Secure connections to the motor, look for loose wires.....

The water fill valve - The water fill valve is a mechanical and electrical part, the coils on the valve need electricity to mechanically open the valve to allow the water to flow into the washer....myth....the washer pumps water into itself...no, it does not. The fill valve opens and the house water pressure pushes the water into the washing machine.
No cold water or no hot water - The fill valve has two coils, one for the hot water and one for the cold water. It is possible that one of the coils can fail and you loose that filling ability. If the cold water coil quits, the hot will still work and during warm fill you will get hot water only and during a cold fill you will get no water at all. If the hot coils quits, you will still have cold water fill, cold water only on a warm setting and no water on a hot fill setting. You can test a fill valve live for 120 volts, power to a fill valve coil and no fill = a bad fill valve. You can also test the coils for continuity, no continuity = a bad fill valve. Some Maytag washers have a fuse in the fill valve circuit, if this fuse let go the washer will not fill. Fill valves can also from time to time stick open and not stop filling. If you have to shut off the fill valves to stop the water from filling in the washer, you have a bad fill valve and you will have to replace it.

The washing machine won't fill with water at all. we have cleaned the pump valve and we have checked the water lines. are there any other things that could be causing this problem?

You will want to check and make sure the door handle/lock is switching on. the front load unit will not fill with water with the door open. Check that the latch is engaging.

Fills cold and warm but not hot

This is a common problem with hot water lines to washing machines. The hose connecting the washing machine to the hot water supply has a small screen in the inlet of the hose. These are used to keep grit, etc from getting into the washing machine and causing bigger problems.
Here's what to do:
Pull the washing machine away from the wall a little so you can access the shut-off's. Turn off the hot and the cold water valves.
Take the hot water hose off the valve and check the screen in the rubber washer of the inlet hose. Replacement screen/washers are available at local hardware stores for a couple bucks.
You can clean the old ones, just be careful not to damage the rubber washer because that's what keeps your hose from leaking when you reinstall it on your faucet.
While you're at it, clean the cold water screen as well.
REcheck your fill on a hot cycle... you've most likely solved your issue!

Hot water will not enter machine. Screen filter is clean. Cold is OK.

There's no hot water Some washing machines allow hot water to enter only during certain cycles. Others intermittently allow hot and cold to enter, to temper the temperature of the water. Consult your owner's manual if you are unsure about whether the machine is acting abnormally. If you're sure the machine isn't working the way it used to--or should--try these tests: Is the hot water turned on? If not, turn it on. Is the washer getting cold water but no hot water? If so, check to see if the control panel settings are correct. Is there hot water coming through the proper hose? If not, check to see if the screen inside the water-inlet valve is clean. (The water-inlet valve is the device on the washing machine that the fill hoses are attached to.) If it's clean, you probably have a defective water-inlet valve. If so, completely replace it.

Cold water trickes in very slowly SM 8525147-A

It could be that you have some sediment build-up that has clogged the sediment screens on your supply hoses. You'll need to remove them from both the supply valve and the washer to get everything cleaned out and working properly again.

Turn off the water supply valves to both the cold and hot water hoses and remove them from the washer and the supply valve. Check inside the washer water inlets and see if there are sediment screens inside the hot and cold water inlets. If so, remove them using a small pick so you can flush them out of any debris, as you want them as clean as possible. Also check the hoses to see if they have screens in them at both ends, if so, remove them and clean them too.

Put everything back and you should be all set. IF, however, there isn't any sediment buildup in the screens and hoses, you'll have to replace the washer's water inlet valve, as it controls the flow of water into the washing machine.

As you didn't provide a model number for your washer, you'll have to go to www.searspartsdirect.com and enter in the full, complete model number so you can check for any replacement parts you might need. The site also has a line drawing and parts lists for appliances, so it's helpful when you're undertaking a repair.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

Kenmore 80 series model #110.26882503 fills slowly

For low water volume - or "Trickling" effect...

1. Turn off the water supply to both hoses.
2. Remove hoses (one at a time so you don't get them confused)
3. On the washer side - look for a removeable screen inside wher you just removed the hose.
4. Using a small screwdriver - pop out the screen and reverse-flush it/clean it. It will likely be full of sediment and calcium deposits from your pipes.
5. Replace the inlet screens.
6. Re-fit the hose to the machine.
7. Turn on water supply valves.
8. re-try.
