usually if you just locked your phone for the first time it instantly uses the last 4 letters of ya cell phone # for your lock. it works for my lg slide. you can change it after that if you go to your lock settings. it also depends... is it a touch screen or what?
This problem you will solve ONLY changing the switch, but, i give you an advice- go to an service center to repair it. Don't try even to open it- its a very difficult construction, and its hard to change the switch, even for me that i make cell repairs for 7 years.
Consider using a phone case if you are not already doing so. The slight amount of padding may be just enough to help the phone last longer between service. Results from looking on google suggest that this phone has a tendency to have issues with the touch display. Not much mention of the "mouse" though.
Hi your probably going to need to either contact LG saying the phone *fell* or something and try and and get a new one or go to your nearest phone fixing shop and get it done there. However the shop will need to know how to do touch screens as if the touch screens broken they might make it worse :)
I had the same thing happen last week when I accidently locked myself out of my phone. The reset code is going to be the last 4 digits of your phone number. That is what the Alltel tech person told me to do, and it worked!!! It may or may not work for your phone depending on what service provider you have, but give it a try.
