Many new laptops, and also some older ones running more recent WINDOWS operating systems have what is called "plug and play". You just plug the device into the appropriate location on the laptop, and the system finds the correct drivers and installs them on its own. If your laptop or operating system does NOT have that feature, go to GOOGLE and type in "divers for Logitech QuickCam Messenger Web Cam Model ac110m " or better, go directly to LOGITECH's WEBSITE, probably WWW.LOGITECH.COM, and look for the drivers for your particular device.
...try to use the website that you can test your web cam if this working or not..http://www.testmycam.com/...just open the site and click the cam you see in the screen shot (attached picture) or you can use yahoo messenger to test your cam if this working by chatting with web cam..
If you have been using the webcam in another location the software can remain hooked up on the previous location even if you exit the program correctly. Reboot the software by unplugging it from the USB for a couple of seconds Launch the Logitech toolbar Click on the Quick Capture menu ( 2 film frames ) to start your cam With the cam still running open 'Settings' menu ( 2 gear wheels ) and make your adjustments
