Question about Kwikset Smart Code
I have a broken battery holder, the plastic is a type that glue & epoxy don't adhere to, and the design is propitiatory to this device. Quickset don't even show a parts breakdown on their site. I need help in location a source for this part. The alarm company that supplied it says it is only available as the complete lock. I this is true, noone should ever buy one of these. The battery pack is flimsy, and easily broken.

You want to loosen and take out the screws and remove the key side of the door handle and turn it 180 degrees and reinstall it. Now when you do this you will have to rotate the tang 180 degrees also so the inside lines up. The tang is that little bar that runs the length of the door handle.
