My universal remote wont work on my cello tv

Does the TV work with its supplied remote, could the problem be the TV? How are the batteries in the remote, are they in correctly, try new ones. You can usually see the LED on the remote light up when you press a button by looking at it through a digital camera's viewfinder. Not all universal remotes will work with all TV's, is your TV listed as compatible in the remote's instructions? Does the remote have a customer support number?

I am looking for the tv codes for a tvg1307 remote.

:)

You're asking for the wrong thing, you need to be looking for the TV Codes rather than the Remote Codes.

Any remote can work as long as it has the correct TV code for your TV.

You can find the codes here:

Unabel to use sky control for sound

You have to programme the correct code for your TV into the Sky remote.

You can get these via "Sky Active" (if your box is connected to a phone line) or from the Sky website, or google search: "Sky remote codes".

However your sky remote wont necessarily control more recent televisions unless you have a REV8 remote control. You can check this by taking the battery cover off your remote and looking at the sticker inside. If it says RC1600/00 you're probably not going to be able to control your TV. REV4 and REV6 are more likely to work - but not guaranteed. If it says REV8, then you are probably not using the correct code or you're not programming the remote correctly.

If you have REV8, the correct code for your TV (according to Sky) is: 0678 or 1678 or 0254

Sky remote code finder page is here: http://sky.uebv.com/

Sky guide to finding your remote code and programming remotes is here:

Lost the direct TV signal to the TV when nephew pushed a button on the remote (he doesn't remember which button) The other TVs in the house receive signals per usual.

Your nephew must have pushed the "Input" button on the remote. The TV is now looking for signal at a different input.

On the remote, press the input button until the TV switches back to the correct input. Make sure the satellite receiver is turned on so when the TV lands on the correct input, you will know it.

JUST BOUGHT AN OPEN BOX TOSHIBA T.V. MODEL #26LV61OU LCD-HD AND IT DIDN'T HAVE A REMOTE. IT'S WORKING WITH MY VERIZON FIOS BUT I CAN'T CONTROL THE SOUND. WHAT TYPE OF REMOTE SHOULD I GET FOR THIS T.V. AND...

The remote that came with your Verizon FIOS can be programmed to control the sound on your TV. There are four different remotes can come with Verizon FIOS, and there are three different procedures to program them. I will give you all three to print out try to fix your remote control problem.

Does your remote look like either of these two?

If so you have a Philips universal remote. Here are the steps to find the code that will control the sound on your TV:

1) Turn on the device you want to program into your remote, for example if you are programming your remote to control your TV, then turn on the TV.

2) Press and hold the device button for the device you turned on in step 1 (DVD, AUX, TV, STB) and press OK. Release both buttons. The mode buttons blink twice.

3) Press 922.

4) Point the remote control toward the device you are setting up and press the upper part of the Play button.

5) Press the Fast Forward button. If the device you are setting up does not turn off, keep pressing the Fast Forward button until the device powers off. (You can use the Rewind button to go back, if necessary.)

6) When the device powers off then you've found the correct code for that device. Press OK to assign the code in your remote control.

Note:
There are over 200 possible combinations for TV and DVD codes. The most common codes are tried first but you may still need to press the Fast Forward or Rewind buttons over 200 times to find the correct code for your device.

If you reach the end of the list of codes, the entire remote flashes twice and returns to normal operation. You can exit programming at any time by pressing the Exit button.

  5. Point the remote control toward the device you are setting up and press the Play button.

  6. The remote control tests each code in its library. The mode button blinks once each time the remote transmits a new code. When the last code is reached, the mode button blinks twice.

  7. When the device powers off, press the Select button.

  8. Verify the new code is correct by pressing the Power button.

Did the device power on again?

No: Turn the device on and press the Channel Up or Channel Down button to step forward or back to the correct code. When the device turns off, press Select to assign the code.
___________

One of those three should work for you.
Hope that helps.
