They are special 7.2v Li-Ion or Ni-Mh (read your label) you can get at Mr.Battery or Batteries+, BUT the thing is laser-welded together and full of TAR. You can make Jig with RAZOR to score the straingh joints, but the curves are hard. Use can of air upside down to chill the tar and whack with screwdriver handle ;)

Use tape to hold together for next time

Dell Latitude D600, installed new battery, but still won't charge.

Try to use another ac adapter or charger,.. If that doesn't work you'll need to replace the motherboard.

Usually this issue gets fixed by updating the BIOS of the computer but if the battery is less than 10% charge then you won't be able to flash the BIOS that will end up replacing the motherboard.

Sounds like a problem in the LCD assembly - either the fluorescent tube, or the inverter. You can get a replacement screen on ebay for about $50-100, they are not too difficult to replace. Dell has detailed service instructions available on their site. Good luck!

Red battery light flashes when chargin dell latitude

If the battery light flashes red, this is usually an indicator of a bad cell in the battery or the battery is not being charged. This could be a power supply problem, a battery problem or a power adapter problem on the motherboard (The piece mounted to the motherboard that the power cord plugs into). Laptops are becoming notorious for this last problem.

You can purchase an external Bluetooth adaaptor (USB type) from www.bestbuy.com.

To install it, you just need to plugin the adaptor into a USB port on your laptop.

yes it can, plug a external monitor in the video port if you get video the rest of you computer is good the problem is the display. Now you might want to speak to a pro for repairs as it could be simply unplugging the conector from the motherboard or replacing the inverter.Last but not least you can try this for yourself remove the power battery and memory, press and hold the power button for twenty seconds.Reinstall them again and try again.
Good luck
