Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: my zyxel 660 hw works fine for 10 minutes, then starts disconnect

If the same thing is happening with the USB WIFI on the PC. This sounds like a problem with your PC rather than your router. Is your antivirus / spyware scanner up to date? If not up date it and run a full system scan. Also you should check to see if your Firewall is up to date, and that the wireless network you are connecting to is included in the safe zone area of your firewall.

1 more thing if you are using a Thrid party firewall (i.e. Norton, Zone Alarm, McAfee, Etc.) Make sure Windows Firewall is deactivated (in Conntrol Panel) having 2 firewalls on can lead to random problems

SOURCE: Intermittent WiFi with ASUS WL-500W

I had the same problem. The problem is interferance from other devices. Solution, Change the channel from auto to a fixed one. That worked for me. No more droped connections, and a very strong signal now.

SOURCE: won't connect to WiFi home network, keeps coming

Go to device manager, network adapters, select your wifi adapter, right click then uninstall it. If you're with Vista, do not delete the drivers. Then when its gone, select action on device manager and scan for hardware changes. It will re install the wifi adapter back. Now try to reconnect back to your router, put in your security key and once connected, save it. When you boot it up again it should connect back automatically again.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Hi, I have a Sony

Hello,

Just had same problems with my brand new Xperia Mini Pro and old WRT54G ver 5. Every time I connected with WiFi the router restarted (once it returned to factory settings). I updated the router firmware to latest version (1.00.6 to 1.02.8) and after this it works fine.

Best Regards
Peder

My wifi keeps disconnecting and have to restart phone to reconnect, but only lasts for maybe an hour

Samsung Galaxy S 4G Smartphone: WiFi disconnects (have to restart phone to reconnect, does not scan for WiFi connections):

Hello. It could be that your "Auto Network Switch" setting is on..

What Auto Network Switch does: when the WiFi gets too low the phone automatically switches to cellular, and when cellular connection gets too low, the phone will switch to WiFi

All Samsung Galaxy's are not alike for it's menu settings.. but you can try:

for S4 and up:
Settings>hold down on WiFi settings for a second then let go > un-check box at top for "Smart Network Switch"

for other Samsung Smartphones see the attached video below:

If your device is having issues trying to scan for your router.. try turning off your router for 2 minutes, then turn it back on.. make sure you wait a few minutes for your router to properly boot back up before you try scanning for your WiFi network again

I am using Belkin F5D7234 router.I can access the Wifi from my laptop very well but sometimes the internet connection is lost i.e in 1-2 minutes, the it automatically got connected and disconnects again...

While facing the problem, check the lights. Is it changing or not?

If it changes, The problem maybe with the router. Contact Belkin: 18002235546

If it is not changing, You need to contact the ISP.

Netbook will not connect to wifi. Have tried to do it at 3 different locations and still no results unless plugged into router directly with an ethernet cable.

try resetting the router (disconnect the power to it for a few minutes) next --be sure the wifi switch is enabled on the netbook---next---go to CONTROL PANEL>NETWORK CONNECTIONS--right click oin your wifi card and choose properties--highlight INTERNET PROTOCOL and choose properties and be sure "OPTAIN IP ADDRESS AUTOMATICALLY" is checked--Does the laptop "SEE" the router? choose VIEW all wireless connections and choose the one you want..
You will need your SSID to logon to the router(internet)
