Question about Magic Chef CTF1826AR Top Freezer Refrigerator
Every few days I have water in the floor in front of my refrigerator. It looks like it is coming from under the bottom drawers. I assume this is a stopped up hose or something like that but I am not sure where to find the hose (or how to get to it may be more accurate). Any suggestions?
There is usually a thin pipe, yes, that runs the condensation that forms on the inside radiator, and drops it out to a thin tray overtop of the compressor, where it evaporates. If you look below the inside radiator there should be a small gutter- follow this to whatever end it is at its lowest point(or the middle where the other gutter meets it in some cases) here will be the stasrt of the pipe. It is likely the start will be full of gunk. Use a wire or the best option i used in my appliance repair days was the old curtain wire(bendy looking about 3mm across, dont remember what its called) and feed this down. Failing this hot water poured into it might be enough to clear it. The other option for the excessive water is too much room air getting inside- wither by an obstruction stopping the door closing or that the seal is buggered- sheck that...
