Can circuit breakers from different manufactures be installed in a panel

I wouldn't do that. Generally breakers are specific to the brand of panelboard you have. It can be as simple as being the difference between a plug-in breaker and a bolt-on breaker but it can be as complicated as putting in a different kind making it no longer UL certified. The UL certification applies to the specific brand of panel board with the specific cover that comes with it and the guaruntee of only same brand circuit breakers in it. Are you having a hard time finding the same brand of breakers or were you considering it because of cost?

Not Eaton but Square D. Arc Fault trips with new vacuums Kenmore 21714. Replaced vacuum cleaner, still happens. Suspect design flaw

you say you have a square d panel and you have a eaton breaker this may be the problem square d should always have a square d breaker and eaton with eaton they dont fit wright in the panel they are made for each other ,you should check the panel and breaker to see if all the wires are tight if there is no problem there check the plug in the wall if there all tight ,it may be drawing to many amps and blowiing the breaker,

I want to replace a 45 year old Federal Pacific (Stab Lok) electrical load center. It is a small one (12 spaces) and am looking for info on the proper replacement. It is currently carrying 100 amps. 3 20s,...

I prefer Square D panels. They have been easier to install than others in my experience. When you say you have 2 30s that are joined you mean you have wires piggybacked together on the breaker? or a tandem 30?

I need a 15A GFI circuit breaker that fits into a Square D Homeline Load Center - it is not available locally - what other manufacturer's 15A GFI circuit breaker fits into a Square D Homeline Load Center?

That number in the heading is not correct. While you might find a breaker that "fits" your panel there is no other brand that is listed to work with your panel The correct number would be

HOM115GFICP If you can't find it locally, there are many locations you can order one from online. I don't know where you are locatged, but an electrical supply house or even homedepot should have one.

How do you get the circuit breakers ot of the box its a square D type HOMT please help we have no electricity in camper

Very simple: Unhook the wire from the breaker and then pry up at the center of the box... the breaker slips over a blade at the center of the box and tucks under a pair of tabs near where the wire connects.

That is, the breakers tip up from near the center of the box toward the outside.

You can use aa flat screwdriver to go right between the breakers at the center to nudge them up to start... DO NOT put the driver in more than 1/4 inch.

I have a 30space 200A load center from Homeline, and I have a tandem 20A breaker with the model HOMT2020. It will not lock in. the buss clip fits but the plastic case where the cut is to recieve the bus...

There are several variations even within brands. When in doubt, remove an existing breaker and take it to the hardware store with you to match the format. That way you get the right one in one trip.

Where is my 1991 holiday rambler travel trailer converter

I had a similar problem on my 1995 Holliday Rambler Aluminalite 29 foot travel trailer with the similar layout of your trailer. My converter was only putting out 12.28 Volts DC. I fount the converter under the front of the trailer. (facing the front of the trailer, just right of center about 8" back)
There was a pannel with screws on the underbelly. I could hear the humm of the transformer. I removed the cover and found the red wire from the converter to a stud nut was loose. Tightened the nut and now I have 13.29 Volts DC.

Regards.
