You might need a different outlet for that now. Or unplug it and let it sit for a hour then try to plug it back in.

3000 watt eliminator with OLP and LUP CODES any Ideas

Assuming you have a 12VDC In 120V AC out 3000W inverter.
LUP indicates battery voltage is low, so firstly make sure:

1. You 12V battery is good, it's large enough a minimum of 75AH and probably much larger is recommended and it's fully charged.
2. Verify you are using the correct size copper wires from battery to the Inverter DC INPUT(s). If you keep wire short the wire size can be smaller, but if the DC input wires are longer then you will need to use thicker copper wires.

At MAx load you would be taking 250 AMP from battery, so for a 5% Volatge drop of .6 V for a 10 ft length of cables from battery to Inverter you would need to use a 1AWG copper cable.

OLP is a overload condition, which means you may have to many high powered AC powered things connected to the Inverters AC outlets or maybe something that has large start up surge, ie devices large electric motors.

Or it could be all due to a faulty Inverter.

TI-83 no power

I'd say not, you've done your due dilligence. From there I'd say it is a problem in the CPU. Good Luck

Why won't my calculator power up? It worked fine Friday but I came in Monday to find it dead. No one else uses it...

A guess: the lamp was off, so did not experience the power surge, but the calculator was on and the power supply was fried. It might just be a blown fuse in the power supply, so one could open the case (voiding any warranty ;-) and look for a soldered-in fuse.

Panasonic problems

Your home may have suffered an electrical power surge, check the end of the electrical cord, there you may find a built in surge suppressor with two buttons, depress the reset button. If one does not exist, then you must access the interior power supply and search for a low voltage electrical fuse. Inspect and replace if burned.

What controls the "low fuel"

The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the resistance of the fuel level sender (tank sender) as a function of the feedback voltage, and calculates the amount of fuel in the tank....The PCM will turn On the LOW FUEL telltale lamp when the calculated fuel level in the tank reaches approximately 1.5 gallons (5.7 L). The level is calculated by taking a buffered average of the sender resistance. The resistance value used to trigger the LOW FUEL telltale lamp is 519 ohms or more....I hope this helps answer your question. Thanks for using FixYa.

Hi,first you need to check if fuse has not been blown out.Because when POWER comes back after an outage there is a surge voltage flowing through electrical lines. It is advisable that when their is a POWER outage you have to turn off your FUSE box or SAFETY box to make sure that it won'tdamage appliances when POWER comes back>Technically when POWER SOURCE or SUPPLY has been shut off for a period of time. When POWER is back, expectantly there is an abnormal flow of current/line; current will not be as stable until a period of time..AC current behaves like a wave, values changes from time to time especially when POWER SOURCE has just been TURNED ON..So better turn off FUSE BOX when experiencing POWER OUTAGE so that when power comes back SURGE VOLTAGE wont flow within the circuit>Hope this helps..

Computer will not turn on. Possible power surge.

If the power supply is good then your motherboard must have gone bad during a surge.

Grandaughter gave me her TI-81. I replaced all

TI calculators have an annoying habit of dimming the screen when the batteries are changed so that it appears as if the calculator isn't turning on. Turn the calculator on (or at least press the ON key). Press and release the 2ND key. Press and hold the Up-arrow key for a few seconds and see whether the screen becomes legible.

Power outage=shut down

You do not say your location- so this may not be relevant to you. If in UK - check the power cord fuse. If it is a model that relies on an external power supply- try to find anther of the same specification. Other than that presume it has died
